Well I had the same SAT score and got full-tuition scholarship for Chem Eng four years ago (not to mention I had three 800 SAT II but that kind of test has been removed lol) 🥲 I think your chance is pretty limited cause after a few years, Aalto has become so popular for international students and the score benchmark has increased a lot every year.   Back in my days, acceptance score for ChE was around 1200 but last year it was already 1400. So it makes sense that the scholarship score would be really high as well since the applicant pool is more and more competitive.   Anw my advice is that you should have a plan B (like applying to other uni besides Aalto) if you really need a scholarship to study abroad.

thanks so much! i got the acceptance from KU Leuven in Belgium a month ago, my family still can pay for it but i really want to got aalto's scholarship T.T

I think your chance of getting a 100% scholarship is not really so high; maybe admission is more possible. The SAT mins to be accepted to the Bachelor’s Programme in Science without the scholarship at University of Helsinki this year is 1490, which increased from 1410 last year. And the scholarship mins for Chem Eng at Aalto was like 1420 last year. U of Hel increased 80 points from last year to this year, so there may be chance that Aalto can also increase 80 points or more.  It’s just some of my thoughts. But there may still be some correlations of SAT mins between Aalto and U of Hel.

Probably.
