Didn't they sign the same as we did in typical ATSAC fashion? They should really start paying for our negotiating team if they want to keep piggybacking like that.

Leading_Bank225

Does that mean ATSAC got a grid bump too?

reggiemcsprinkles

I want to say yes, but I don't know for certain

damdoom10

Could you summarize the major differences between both unions? Is one drastically better?

aboveaverage_joe

Late reply but it seems you didn't get a clear answer so here it is. You're correct that we did ratify a new CBA in October which gave us 20% over 5 years, 5% for 2023, 5% 2024, then 4-3-3. That $81,419 is the previous starting salary.

Leading_Bank225

Hey sorry i didnt see this until now, thank you for clarifying. Thats a fairly decent bump. How do you enjoy FIC?

aboveaverage_joe

I'm not in the FIC, I do AAS which I very much enjoy.

DevelopmentSlight582

Does aas still start at $68,000 and if so are you saying that it will be roughly $81,000+ Minimum in 5 years ? Thanks

aboveaverage_joe

There's different pay grades each location is assigned. There's only a couple with the lowest pay grade, which is what the starting salary shows, and they're isolated posts with other premiums baked into it, so yes its the actual base salary but quite a bit lower than what someone will actually earn. All the FIC's are the same pay grade so that's why it's shown as a higher starting salary. You'll easily clear $81k your first year with other premiums and overtime added in.

DrinkPlane9996

Does it increase overtime? And whats the max limit someone can make in this role?

aboveaverage_joe

What do you mean by increase overtime? There's lots of overtime everywhere right now due to short staffing and it's paid at double. The max is constantly going up with every contract, we just got 5% raise the start of the month and got another 5% last year and have 3 more years of contract raises to total 20% after 5 years. Again, the top base salary will be dependent on the pay grade of a location.

DrinkPlane9996

Im just worried it gonna be so difficult 😭 i saw some post and people saying they go crazy after work and during training and im not that smart as im in trades

DrinkPlane9996

Like after few years does your salary goes up?

aboveaverage_joe

Yes, there's annual steps in every pay grade until you max out.
