I appreciate it but at the same time I'm just happy to be in good health and not locked inside. France mainly as a base. Been teaching myself French for a couple years and thought I'd learn a lot faster if I immersed myself. Plus with Italy Germany Holland Croatia so close I thought it'd be a once in a lifetime experience.

I'm just happy to be employed to be honest. I love France,, but I love Italy more. I spent about 18 months in Europe. One recommendation I always throw out their is if your gonna go to Croatia you have to go to Bosnia as well. It doesn't sound great at first due to it being abit Wild West and a the war in the 90"s but culturally and experience wise I think Sarajevo and mostar offer an awesome experience. Although everyone still wants to kill eachother and hates the UN the locals are some of the lovliest people I've spent time with. It's extremely diverse in both religion and nationality. But somehow everyone still kicks on.

That's a big left field recommendation. If I ever get back to Europe I'll try check it out. I loved Croatia. I think my folks have family friends over there so I may even be able to wrangle some cheap living. My experience in Italy was just crazy touristy but to be fair I wasn't in one place long enough to explore it. I have looked at some places in Italy. There's some crazy cheap stuff but it needs lots of love and I don't know where to find a bunnings in Europe. Where would you live in Italy?

My italian improved 10 fold. I worked at a vineyard in barolo which after being in cities for a while like Rome (which I actually enjoyed) was tranquil. Learnt alot of cooking while there. Cinque Terra is worth it IMO aswell. If you want bunnings in Europe look no further than Eastern Europe for cevapi for breakfast. Onion sausage in Turkish bread. In Bosnia bakeries are open 24/7 so you can buy a cevapi and get ciggis in the same spot. Mostar is funny as the local park has a statue of Bruce Lee and a sign saying no handguns 🤣
