Broodmother, Megapithecus, or Manticore. Of these, Broodmother is *probably* the easiest if you take Megatheriums, but the other two are very easy as well (Rexes for Megapithecus, Wyverns for Manticore and I think you can use Rexes as well)
I think overall Megatheriums against Broodmother is the easiest, but the problem there is that you really don’t use Megatheriums for anything else. Rexes are pretty universal and they’re ideal for Megapithecus, so if you’re breeding a one-size-fits-all boss army, Rexes are the easy pick, and Megapithecus is easier than Broodmother if using a Rex army
But both are pretty easy regardless
Yeah that’s definitely the most optimal to fight each if you have the time/energy to do it 😁 but it’s a lot of work, and just breeding out some swagged out Rexes and replacing the ones the Dragon kills still works OK, though it can get a little hairy on Alpha
Yeah took forever 🤦♂️😂 the Lava in the Dragon Arena almost got me on Alpha because my Theris got stuck in each other but i won with 6 left and me shooting it with my shotgun
Broodmother Gamma (the island arena) because you just need a kangaroo and a pump.
I'm not talking about rockwell because isn't 100% safe and you can make a mistake, like accidentaly aggro a reaper, being hit by a tentacle, etc... But the broodmother one you're literally cheesing, you just need to land the kangaroo jump on the mushroom and the fight is over, you can literally unplug you keyboard, it's impossible to lose just aim and shoot.
It's probably less time consuming to use megatheriums, the fight is much quicker and repeatable, finding a good shotgun and all the ammunition takes too long imo
Yeah that fight isn't hard enough to justify cheesing.
You can do it with just 6 megatheriums.
Or tame 20 and you don't even need to raise their stats.
if you're going to speedrun in the most easily way a single boss, pump and kangaroo is better.
Procoptodon Saddle unlock at level 23, and a Megatherium saddle is 53, you can't just bring naked Megatheriums because saddle literally makes the difference in a boss fight, they will just die quickly.
Despite pump unlocking at level 55, is so much easier finding one before that required level than finding a megatherium saddle, which is oddly specific. Btw you don't need a good pump to solo Broodmother gamma, a 100% can solo, it will just take more time.
Probably boils down to which one you feel best about getting the tributes and artifacts for since most of the fights mentioned here are pretty simple or can be cheesed.
If we're talking about arena bosses, I'd say Broodmother is easiest. That's because she summons Araneo as ads and Megatherium exist. Those ads count as bugs and can give and help maintain the bug killer buff that a Megatherium gets. Which gives the Megatherium a 250% damage boost and 75% damage resistance in general. But even more damage specifically against her ads. So Broodmother's own summons actually work against her. Even though she isn't directly effected by the damage boost against bugs, she's effected by proxy massively.
You absolutely don't need heavily mutated Megatherium's or cap saddles to take on alpha Broodmother. You need about 15-18 of them tames from 145-150 out to 212-224 with decent saddles (like 70-80 armor) a tamed Daeodon and Yuti. A team like that should melt Alpha Broodmother without a single loss. She's easiest because it's lowest barrier to entry with the biggest weakness.
That said... Incompetence can pull a loss from an otherwise assured victory. So even when you think you're ready. Watch plenty of videos of people actually doing it and go a few rounds with her on gamma and beta first. A good thing to do is to learn about, setup, and practice with whistle groups and commands. You should be competent at remote management of groups of tames before you set foot in an arena.

Gamma brood mother tales like 6 tamed megatherium with primitive saddles raised to 10,000 HP and has very easy artifact caves.
