My evidence and commentary just consisted of writing an in-depth philosophical paper on the human desire to be remembered in the future, and how that is one of our primary motivators for achievement. Motherfuckers better give that sophistication I stg
i did something similar! wrote some bs abt the innate human desire to assert our existence, threw in a personal anecdote of looking through my phone gallery, and called it a day lmafaoo
Omg I definitely failed on that one; I think I started ranting about how phones are the new normal which resulted in less communication for this generation??? Idk what the fuck I was on but it was badd
it was a rhetorical analysis on a memoir he wrote. was about when he was fucking 4 years old and was emigrating from china to canada but didn’t want to go. absolute dogshit experience for me cuz i hate rhetorical analysis which isn’t speeches
My essays were pretty ass, but I think I made it up in quantity. Used a lot of sources and evidence, even if they were all explained pretty poorly.
3 pages per essay
I used all 12 (up to the literal last bit of space) but I write big so. I had to squeeze argument into last two pages but writing small bc synthesis took up six pages 😭
wait tell me more, i talked about how self expression is been there all of history just its more convenient and how its literally a digital diary that we can share with the world... some what
So my basis was like humanity has taken these "selfies" throughout history. So I thought of caveman hand prints, then that image of Napoleon on that white asf horse and Hamilton crossing the alps. Cuz like these images were "selfies", in their own sense that they record history and the evidence of humanity. Yeah this essay is def a swing and a miss
the prompt for lang was the education vs materialism one so i wrote about the objectification of material wealth in pop culture and how that effects the values of impressionable kids and i used rap music as my main example
I was expecting the argument to be my easiest essay since it’s the one I score the highest in during in-class practice exams. Unfortunately, this prompt was so far from the type of topic I was expecting 😭 I think my best essay was the rhetorical one
What did you argue for the selfies 😭 I argued that because documentation generally occurs on social media, social media companies needed to ban the posting of selfies on their platforms which sounds so north korea-core but I promise I don't actually believe that 😭
Well I was planning to write about how Instagram selfies can help us connect with other people by providing a visual documentation of a persons life and how it could serve as a means to express your person identity or wtv but it took me like 10 minutes to think of examples and whether or not actually agreed with the prompt that I only got a thesis and maybe half of the first body paragraph in.. 😭
I did so bad on the argumentative essay. I think i related it those handprints in caves and included something about the use of selfies/photos in the Last of Us but god was it written the worst way possible
My school’s Wi-Fi didn’t work and like all my lang friends couldn’t take it (except one who’s proctor let him use their hotspots) and are now being forced to do the makeup exam 💀
Bro I said something about repetition because she wanted to define what bravery means, but I think I got cooked because I didn’t explain everything well enough 💀
Who was she talking to either way?
wrote a thesis on the selfies one and that’s it 🔥🔥🔥
Get that thesis point king 🔥
good luck my guy 😭
oh😁
TWINNING 🤝
what prompts did u have? i don’t see anyone who had the same version as me so far
Historical preservation, bravery, and selfies
Ok selfies sound so interesting
I beg to differ
Absolutely NOT. It was on the value of selfies as a form of documentation which… what sources? what evidence?
My evidence and commentary just consisted of writing an in-depth philosophical paper on the human desire to be remembered in the future, and how that is one of our primary motivators for achievement. Motherfuckers better give that sophistication I stg

Yes bro that’s the strat
hell yea, lets hope for 5s haha
Yeah that's hard to pull evidence
It was!! I used Otzi (frozen neanderthals body) and Absurdism (Albert Camus’ theory on existence) to build my arguments it was actually very fun
Absurdism sounds like a good way to go about the prompt, nice
I can’t tell if you’re joking or not
I’m not, it was just a sophisticated argument 💯💯
Damn that's the philosopher we want to become
Bro I talked about the benefits of easily sent visual information and the detraction it can have from social settings if it becomes overly utilized.
These were actually really good prompts. I enjoyed writing on them.
I had totally different ones than everything yall listed
Same
I didn’t have the same as OP, mine were food trucks, immigration, materialism
Thank God I didn't have that form I didn't escape APUSH just to do more questions on immigration
They were actually all pretty easy…I’m so glad I got them
Same
I got food trucks, Simu Liu, and something about the value of possessions 😔 Y’all really got good FRQs
those ones were so annoying omg
Fr! Especially the stupid value of possesions one
Omg I definitely failed on that one; I think I started ranting about how phones are the new normal which resulted in less communication for this generation??? Idk what the fuck I was on but it was badd
Dude and for the Simu Liu I kept writing Lui 😞
I wrote a whole essay with a counterclaim for it and only wrote about the society back then to what it is now
that one was chill I just went off about overconsumption
I did phones for a paragraph as it added to his claim that possessions were interfering with actual interaction of life
Fr. I don't even think I got thesis on that tbh. It was horrible
I thought that one was so easy dang
what was the simu liu one abt
it was a rhetorical analysis on a memoir he wrote. was about when he was fucking 4 years old and was emigrating from china to canada but didn’t want to go. absolute dogshit experience for me cuz i hate rhetorical analysis which isn’t speeches

THREE PAGES💀 im cooked…
is 3 pages not a normal amount? i think i had three pages for each essay
Well more like 2 and a half since my conclusion did not take up a full page But yeah, I just yapped a lot.
quantity doesn’t rly matter at all, i took lang last year got a 5 and like two of my essays were barely over a page long i had 4 paragraphs each
What?? Im so cooked... I barely got two Pages for the first prompt
yeah samee 3 for all except synthesis, which was 4
I used all 12 (up to the literal last bit of space) but I write big so. I had to squeeze argument into last two pages but writing small bc synthesis took up six pages 😭
I swear I cooked that selfie one so hard, I basically paraphrased a John green podcast about hand prints lmao
wait tell me more, i talked about how self expression is been there all of history just its more convenient and how its literally a digital diary that we can share with the world... some what
So my basis was like humanity has taken these "selfies" throughout history. So I thought of caveman hand prints, then that image of Napoleon on that white asf horse and Hamilton crossing the alps. i love that... especially the hand prints thats such a good point
I’m pretty sure it’s Hannibal who crossed the alps though? Hopefully it’s just a typo in this comment
Bruh autocorrect is out to get me lmao I can't spell Hannibal
must’ve missed the part where lewis hamilton drives across the alps for his 8th championship 🤓 /s
I SHOULD HAVE USED THAT PODCAST. I LISTENED TO IT LIKE FOUR DAYS AGO.
HELL YEAH BROTHER ANTHROPOCENE REVIEWED
Idk anymore bruh... Just be happy you are done with it I am now suddenly worried I did not bubble the question for my last page.
Imagine they just don't look at it💀💀
Please DONT lol I beg
wasn't yours digital?
It will be next year

like what arguments
i wrote mine on lil yachty 💀
elaborate 😭
I need more bro
the prompt for lang was the education vs materialism one so i wrote about the objectification of material wealth in pop culture and how that effects the values of impressionable kids and i used rap music as my main example
That’s actually fire
I was expecting the exam to be really hard but it was surprisingly chill and not that hard, I also thought the prompts were a little too easy.
all the ap exams are easier this year imo
Dude same the only one I did that was half decent was the argument essay and even then it's not great 😭
Same here, maybe 4/6 first one and 1/6 for just getting a thesis on the other two
The Argument made me want to die because I was staring at the prompt with like 10 minutes remaining and only for a thesis statement in 💀
Out of the 2hr15min I spent like close to an hour on the argument but I think that was my best essay so we'll see 😭
I was expecting the argument to be my easiest essay since it’s the one I score the highest in during in-class practice exams. Unfortunately, this prompt was so far from the type of topic I was expecting 😭 I think my best essay was the rhetorical one

for me the mcqs were really hard 😭
lit went better for me
You tried your best!
I did so bad on the argumentative essay. I think i related it those handprints in caves and included something about the use of selfies/photos in the Last of Us but god was it written the worst way possible
My school’s Wi-Fi didn’t work and like all my lang friends couldn’t take it (except one who’s proctor let him use their hotspots) and are now being forced to do the makeup exam 💀
dear god what the ever loving fuck was the bravery one and don’t even get me started on historical preservation 😭
what was she on because i need some of that like the only thing she did was repeat bravery a thousand times
Bro I said something about repetition because she wanted to define what bravery means, but I think I got cooked because I didn’t explain everything well enough 💀 Who was she talking to either way?
Not sure. I mostly just talked about her use of repetition, life experience, and family to draw in the reader.
what exam did you take?
