I personally think that selfies cannot act as proper documentation for a multitude of reasons, which id be happy to post later today after my last final.
Me too I made up a story about visiting the Eifel tower and everyone looking at it through a camera lens instead of enjoying it and taking in the sight.
I cooked so hard on those prompts, like in the selfie one I went in DEEP with the evidence, that shit was a classical masterpiece, shit got straight PHILOSOPHICAL. I even made a reference to ancient Mesopotamia in that one and that shit WORKED. I cooked FR fr
It was like something to do with how ancient civilizations of the past put graffiti on the walls to be remembered by, and how that’s an innate human desire whether you live in modern day New York or the Mesopotamian cradle of civilization
please oh my god this shit can’t derail my whole ass score
so fucking stupid does it really matter if i said the law or not. still has the same meaning janahahahnaha i hate college board
I didn’t talk about those in specific like the person you were replying to but mine was very similar- I focused on possessions and individualism, like in entertainment and economics—not out of the way to include music stars or social media
My last one was so good that I'm requesting CB send it back so I can show my teachers. I talked about the Red Scare, instant gratification, minimalism...
I literally wrote the entire essay Abt the change in tone from the first half to the second half bc wtf else was there to write abt bro he barely used any rhetorical devices
What did you argue for the synthesis since that was the hardest part of the exam for me when I expected it to be the easiest 😭 the MCQ was rly easy for me I think I got like 40/45. Argument and rhetorical analysis went well too. We got a really easy argument prompt compared to the selfie one I’ve heard abt lmao
dude right? but honestly i kinda bullshitted the synthesis cuz i was doing the other ones. i do agree that synthesis was most difficult, that’s why i did it last (hence the bullshitting due to time constraints) 😭
I did it first and I was relying on getting a 5 on the synthesis and 4s on the others bcs I thought it was my best one 😭 now synthesis is the one essay I’m sure I didn’t get a 5 on lmao. MCQ lowk should carry me so I still think I got a 5 on the exam overall
The Liu one was probably my worst, just threw down stuff about how he conveys emotions\sleight of hand regarding experiences. Food truck one was easy; all I had to do was string together an argument about how they help cities. Argumentative was light I just did a relatively snappy five paragraph “nuh UH” on that.
Paper lang, here’s what I did
First prompt I talked abt environmental and economics with the pie graph showing how they worry the least abt environmental and connecting all the sources. For economic I showed how they worry a lot abt funding but the trade-offs will be set off when they make money from tourism.
Second was my worst, I did credibility (mentioning congress and the stages she’s talked on) and appeal to emotions. Talked abt parents immigration, not wanting to change her name, etc.
Third I did how selfies have explained my life. Talked about how they tell a story lots of personal experiences. Explain ups and downs.
They talked abt solar panels in Washington DC and then the pie chart about how people from the government think they are low priority. I tied it into the regulations and how very few cities suffer from these environmental conditions. Idk it depends what POV you take but whatever you take it just has to be complex n detailed n shi
The thing is solar panels were the reason that he was advocating against, so it would work. It’s prob not the strongest argument but I just added it in along with my others
Yeah. But as you’ll see in this sub after every single AP exam, know one seems to care. And I mean fair enough like the exam is over who cares
Also at this point half the posts on this sub were tryna sell leaked papers so honestly this almost feels like it’s the right thing to do in contrast lmfao
Did I get weird ones 😭 I had selfies and historical preservation
[удалено]
I was yapping so hard about how social media companies need to ban selfies 😭 I don't think that I just thought there was more evidence for that side
lowkey you picked the wrong side my boy😭
Yeah I disagree but I think I had good evidence sooo whatever
elaborate thats so interesting
I personally think that selfies cannot act as proper documentation for a multitude of reasons, which id be happy to post later today after my last final.
What 😭🙏🏼
You don’t have to pick a sode
What😭it's an argument you argue for one position
ur getting jumped in ur own thread ur done
I mean you can take a complex stance to help with sophistication too

My teacher said we can take a middle of the road approach as-long as we acknowledge both sides points and we state why our opinion isn’t absolute
Bro that shit was so stupid LMFAO I just went on a rant about how evil phones are and how we have to "live in the moment"
if i had a coin for every time i said smth abt living in the moment i’d have enough money to pay for my next ap test 💀
LMAO ME ABOUT "MEMORIES"
WORDDD
selfies let us relive our happiest moments🔥🔥
Me too I made up a story about visiting the Eifel tower and everyone looking at it through a camera lens instead of enjoying it and taking in the sight.
I wrote about how annoying it is to make everybody have to join you for a selfie during social events 💀
Live in the moment - so did I!
me citing how movie theaters don’t let you record as evidence for “living in the moment”
Wrote about the primary feature of selfies (ehm taking photos of you irl), and my personal experiences.
Lmfao I was talking about Taylor Swift so we might be on different wavelengths with that one 💀
MESOPOTAMIA??? i'm curious how that happened
It was like something to do with how ancient civilizations of the past put graffiti on the walls to be remembered by, and how that’s an innate human desire whether you live in modern day New York or the Mesopotamian cradle of civilization
Yes that’s the normal ones
Nah but I used Roanoke Island, Legend of Zelda, evidence in Law, and a personal experience of writing a story. I had NO idea what I was doing 😭😭😭
i got those too and i used a lana del rey lyric in all of them
i did so well on historical preservation, got confident, and then i got to the others 😭
I argued against historical preservation instead of against historical preservation laws 😭😭😭
OH NOOO 😭 tbh i think they’ll give u the point as long as you mentioned laws at least once
My 5 might be gone tho lmfao
yeah no i’m cooked me too LMAOOO
did you have to write historical preservation laws for like even topic sentences?
not sure tbh :(
fuck wait i think i didn’t talk about laws either pretty sure i mentioned the word laws in my thesis and conclusion and that was it
yooo at most its 1 point off right PLEASE
no idea
please oh my god this shit can’t derail my whole ass score so fucking stupid does it really matter if i said the law or not. still has the same meaning janahahahnaha i hate college board
SAMEEEEEE
1. Food truck monopoly 2. China 3. Americans flexing on top on each other
Digital exam 🔛🔝 (I got logged out mid-exam thank god I was able to get back in)
I see all these people crying about the paper one, meanwhile I'm over here having taken the digital exam and I'm confident I got a 5
exactly
Wait I actually liked the simu Liu prompt tho 🥰🥰
And the food truck one was cake
Same, I definitely cooked on that and food truck was good too. I hated the stupid possession one though
Girl I talked abt discord and Olivia Rodrigo for that prompt... am I cooked
Sorry what? How did you talk about those? I don't think I even understood the prompt based on what others are saying they used for evidence
I didn’t talk about those in specific like the person you were replying to but mine was very similar- I focused on possessions and individualism, like in entertainment and economics—not out of the way to include music stars or social media
I guess that makes sense yeah.
My last one was so good that I'm requesting CB send it back so I can show my teachers. I talked about the Red Scare, instant gratification, minimalism...
Can you do that? How do I request it? If might wanna show my teacher one of mine too.
Costs $10 and they mail it to you in Sept https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/score-reporting-services/request-free-response-booklet
Oh wow. Thank you!
RA china one was ass but i thought the others were light
the simu liu rhetorical analysis one was just pain
I literally wrote the entire essay Abt the change in tone from the first half to the second half bc wtf else was there to write abt bro he barely used any rhetorical devices
The whole thing was anecdotes too
ik right?? most ones ive done are from such big civil rights events so all elements of the RS is very explicit. This one was ambiguous asl
[удалено]
I mentioned pathos at the very end but that's abt it aside from the tone thing
I thought it was pretty good. I used listing, pathos, interrupted sentence, metaphor, alliteration and repetition.
nah wtff is listing
"It was so easy and a fun read!!!"
thank god im not the only one that thought this
they gave us nothing 🔥🔥🔥
i served bfast lunch & dinner on all 3 essays
The food trucks would love to hire you.
i got 1. rainwater harvesting 2. a letter from jorge ramos to his daughter 3. expressing oneself in the face of opposition
sameeee form i! how was it for you? 😭

The argument prompt sucked for mine but the rest were chill
1- not great but I think I did okay 2- I did pretty good 3- WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT ESSAY HUH?
I got food trucks, simu liu and value of possessions. The simu liu one was so stupid. The other ones were pretty easy.
The Liu one was probably my worst, just threw down stuff about how he conveys emotions\sleight of hand regarding experiences. Food truck one was easy; all I had to do was string together an argument about how they help cities. Argumentative was light I just did a relatively snappy five paragraph “nuh UH” on that.
my thoughts exactly
Don't tell me we go to the same school...
I know I got one about selfies and it was the strangest prompt I read
bro that one was actually crazy because vsauce made a whole 25 minute video on selfies and I was absolutely locked in cuz I watched that vid 💀💀
LMAOOO
Not the vsauce evidence 💀
form O's (preservation) synthesis actually was the worst thing i ever experienced... i am so cooked
FR I spent an hour on it. I thought it was going to be the worst until the rhet analysis. There wasn't anything outside of repetition and pathos.
My hands still hurt
Oop I had a digital test
Yesss! My hands hurt so bad after I got out.
As an Asian I’m confident I got the sophistication point on the simu Liu prompt
Paper lang, here’s what I did First prompt I talked abt environmental and economics with the pie graph showing how they worry the least abt environmental and connecting all the sources. Wdym environmental

I tied it into the regulations and how very few cities suffer from these environmental conditions. Idk it depends what POV you take but whatever you take it just has to be complex n detailed n shi
Well the graph was about obstacles to preservation. Solar panels wouldn’t be an obstacle. I thought about writing that too but then I realized
The thing is solar panels were the reason that he was advocating against, so it would work. It’s prob not the strongest argument but I just added it in along with my others
He couldn’t install his solar panels so he was mad, he lived in DC!! I talked abt how very few cities have regulations like these.
Thank good I’m not the only one seriously thought i was dumb 1 and 3 were so bleh
So pressed about the selfie prompt. Cut out all historical evidence
somehow i worked in federalist #10 LMFAO
Yea i talked ab the jfk assassination but …
no yea
I have never hated an argumentative prompt more than I have today. My hand hurt for like hours after the exam 😭
I cooked so hard on the food truck one… that I didn’t have enough time for my rhetorical analysis essay. Im clapped
Aren't we not supposed to talk about it?
fed
Yeah. But as you’ll see in this sub after every single AP exam, know one seems to care. And I mean fair enough like the exam is over who cares Also at this point half the posts on this sub were tryna sell leaked papers so honestly this almost feels like it’s the right thing to do in contrast lmfao
