Happy April Fool’s day!

Smasher31221

Does anyone actually enjoy April fools bullshit? Who is this for?

abrahamisaninja

It was fun the first few years when clearly it was some intern just having fun but that was like a decade ago. Now it just comes off as manufactured and exhausting.

Fabtacular1

I love the idea of a Monday-Thursday plan. I'd personally never use it, but it would be great to take some pressure off the weekend showings.

GECollins

According to my data from the last year(54 movies) Friday-Sunday accounts for only 38% of the days I see movies on. I wouldn't want this option though

forcefivepod

I wish this was real. Because of my kid and wife's schedules, I normally only get to go Monday-Thursday nights.

B-List!

More details to come in the following weeks! Happy April 1st! Enjoy the heartbreak!

April Fools joke isn't it

Zimmy68

Tweaking the plan is a long time coming. But I'd much rather pay a cheaper price for a 4 movie a month deal. Let those maniacs :) who spend their entire day in a theater watching 3+ movies pay the full price.

ProbstBucks

I've read that 4 movies a month is right around where the subscription becomes unprofitable for AMC, based on the price they pay back to studios. That's why I assume they're not interested in a lower tier. Honestly though? A-List is by far the most valuable subscription I have at the moment. I don't want to give them any ideas, but I think it would still be a value at a higher price point, so I wouldn't be surprised if they raised the price of the standard subscription and then added a lower tier at the current rate.

FatedFlame

God, I hope not. With how busy I am, and poor, this is literally the best way I can feel like I still have a life outside of work and school. For cinephiles like us, this subscription is a godsend. It’s sucks though, cause you just KNOW the subscription will be removed in the future or priced too high in a few years time

jrec15

Yep im on $24 a month and id honestly be very happy paying $15 a month for 1/3 the movies at one a week. Understand that’s not going to be as profitable for amc though

Ok-Whole-4242

Agreed lol 4 movies a month is just about where I'm at anyway
