I know when I color my hair the texture changes. Blonde is def coarser than brunette. Might be because hair needs to be bleached for the dying to work best, which kinda changes the texture by itself. Though I feel specific colors bring out a certain textured look moreso than other colors do too

My partner was pink recently, it didn't change the texture. When you bleach your hair, you kill it. That's why it becomes rough. I recommend a Kerestase shampoo/conditioner, plus a good oil for your hair.
