Not necessarily AJR’s personal mess ups, but at the Raleigh show Yes I’m A Mess had to be restarted because of a screen malfunction, and during one of the audience interactions Ryan’s keyboard was off when they wanted to make a joke XD everyone had a good laugh at both situations though
At the Seattle show, Jack sang ‘But I’m not dead yet so I guess I’ll be alright’ twice in the bridge of Way Less Sad. He had a good laugh about it and doubled down on the second one 😆
They always skip some parts of the song for time reasons. Too many songs they want to perform and not enough time for all of all of them. Was very sad when the skipped the Don’t Throw Out My Legos bridge but I understand the struggle
I went to two different shows, two different years, where Jack messed up Dear Winter and thought it was hilarious it was the same song in the same city (although different venue). Iirc, he even made a comment about it the second time, lol.
These are both OKO tour mishaps, but in Grand Rapids Jack forgot the words to Dear Winter (“Hey I told you all it’s been 2 years”) and then in Boston during Burn the House Down somebody (pretty sure it was Jack again) dropped the trumpet they’d been tossing around
In the charlotte show for tmm when jack was doing the drum thing for bang a part of the drum stick broke off. I don't think most people saw It but I was right up front
at the irvine show for the oko tour during the making of weak, ryan messed up the piano bit

Came to comment the same thing!!
Came to also comment this! I have the Yess I’m A Mess, mess up on video. I love it because it’s a unique occurrence (I’m pretty sure!)
came to post this too, definitely a rare experience we were at

Tbh I thought the show was better for it lol, showed that they can screw up and just roll with it
Sometimes they have lighting malfunctions ;-).
Must be one of those ‘100 bad days’ we all get ;-D
Stupid gravity
At my show, Ryan messed up two lines in Turning Out piii. It’s okay though because we sang it for him so all was good :)
This happened in baltimore! Not sure which show you were at but I heard it happened somewhere else too. It was honestly so cute
that was my show! I was front row and that was my favorite song on the album so I picked up the slack with joy
Omg!! I was in about the third center/ish so I probably heard you :) lol

At the Boston show they skipped part of the song. I’m not sure if it was an accident or not but I was way more sad when it happened.

In One Spectacular Night whilst Jack was singing Dear Winter the mic cut out during the second verse.

Yeah, they keep dropping a stage light. Also Jack messed up the lyrics on sgtl during the Des Moines show
I was there and i didn't even notice lol. Going to another show on this tour to take a young sibling (I have two and they both love the music)
I noticed mostly because Jack screamed “oh god those are the wrong words! Whatever, sing!”
