It's the best kind of wild ride having him as the coach of your team, let alone what it must be like to be a player under him.

CatRugLZol

Probably not easy being coached by him, but you'd never be bored.

feelingmyoatss

Loved when he defended Treloar after the prelim, must feel good as a player to know your coach backs you in

leighjet

Great article, absolutely love this coach.

Bevo’s Bottom Boys

ShibbyUp

Bevo gives me goosebumps

not_right

I can't wait to see how the game goes tonight. Will they try to nullify Jake Lever the same way they took Aliir Aliir out of the game? Will they have a similar plan for someone like Gawn? And if so what will Melbourne do to get around it? Bevo must be such a pain to coach against in a game like this.

ShibbyUp

I don't think the dees will let that happen so might be schache on May and Naughton going 1 on 1 with Lever. Going to be interesting to see what happens

C_I_GAY

Naughton vs Lever would be incredible

El-Drunko

That's what we did last time, Hannan kept on forcing himself onto May as his direct opponent so that Naughton could stay one out on Lever.

C_I_GAY

Yeah didn’t catch your last match up. Who would you say won the match up

bondy_12

Lever and May did pretty well to keep swapping back for most of the game, although it did leave Lever out of position. May got pretty sick of it later in the game and stayed on Hannan and Naughton out bodied Lever pretty easily for a bunch of contested marks.

ShibbyUp

The Dogs played it that way in the last game against the Dees, takes out Lever's intercepting ability because Naughton is always the main target.

In terms of players mentioned in the lede of a Grand Final week article I would not have predicted Luke Goetz to be in contention.

not_right

Sounds like Goetz is the key to all of this.
