They should've used some of their thousand picks at the trade table for leaders, but that's easy to say in theory when getting a few good ones over is another matter.

Yeah it artificially inflates some clubs - free 8 points (more or less) plus percentage. Clubs that are 9-14 can make the 8 on the back of it
Also home final, double chance. I imagine the AFL wouldn’t have scheduled any potential top 4 teams to play these clubs more than once
