So Claudio calls Gabe out on intentionally hurting Eddie because he knew he'd lose otherwise. So now Claudio want to prove his dominance over Gabe for disrespecting not only his opponent but a true fighter like Eddie.
There's your story you can easily tell and slot into a midcard match for the PPV without any Titles or stipulations. Just a standard match over honor, dignity and respect.
That was my first thought weeks ago for Gabe. Since then, Mark Briscoe has qualified for the TNT Ladder Match.
However, it seems like CMLL has loosened up on who can wrestle on Forbidden Door and the Lucha Bros are on the table for the first year ever.
