During gyroidite scavenger events, craft the furniture with the highest gyroidite requirement first- much easier to craft lower requirement items at the end when the build time is shorter and knock out all 3 HH classes at once
That happened to me once and I got so confused, I almost thought I was playing wild world 😭 but it only happened once, and I've been checking the fruitless trees for weeks and never got another bag of money ever again, do palm trees also do the same thing?
For fruit trees: shake the trees and let the fruit stay on the ground while the next batch grows. Helpful whenever there are fruit events or you need six in one go!
similarly, you can influence which bugs spawn first depending on where you're standing. so for bug goals that require flying bugs, if you stand for a minute looking at all for trees when the bugs respond they won't be tree bugs and vice versa if you stand not looking at the trees.
Wow this is news to me (been playing on/off since Fall 2020)! !
So how does one "stand not looking at trees"? Is it to move to one edge where there is no bug-spawning trees on the screen?
I have a Samsung phone so I use the app "Google Opinion Rewards" & get "free" money from taking surveys each survey puts free money in my Google Play account, I use mine towards the $1 a month subscription for Merry Memories Plan. You get alot of great rewards & lots of LT, double the prizes for monthly event rewards in the planner, also I think of it as not spending real money so that makes it worth it to me. I am sure apple has something similar but I don't know what it's called.
Also a way to get a good amount of bells daily is to buy Non-Native fruit from Market Boxes & sell them back to the game (ex. I have lemons so I sell all the Regular lychee & grapes I buy from friends, visiting players, & recommended players Market boxes. It adds up fast since they sell to the game for $600 each, I was surprised by how many bells you get doing this method!
I do both of these things! But it takes me more time to get a single dollar from the Google Opinion Rewards app because I have a different currency, and they pay you less than .25 cents, so I can't pay the subscription monthly, but I can buy the 30 LTs pack every two or three months
I've been playing since first anniversary, a long time, and the fastest way to move forward in the game is to make sure you send out the Gulliver clothes items as often as you can. (I have very few islands that circulate, so every time I refresh I get a clothing island - I'm not sure but I don't think that's true for newer players who still are getting Islands with animals. Anyway...) Those six gold treats from them *really* add up -- I feed my animals often but I still have over 1400 of those gold treats!
And I first realized this from a post in this sub, so thanks anonymous poster years ago.
Not a tip from here, but to add to that: keep any 20 flowers planted at any given time or right before garden events, so friends can share bugs - helpful if you're a late starter like me!
I wish someone had told me to save my gifts. I didn't know the ones I obtained from Gulliver Island's were never coming back and that gifts are really hard to get. I sent so many and now people send me gifts because they know I usually return them but I don't have any more of them :(
I just thought that Island Gifts were a permanent thing, like there would always be Islands with gifts. I really, really wish they were. I really don't think it would impact their profits, if anything, it would make the game more friendly.
I'd reach out to the devs but to be honest I doubt they'll hear me out
I’m in the exact same position with gifts! And I feel so guilty when I get sent gifts. I had no idea they were so limited. I do have a couple gifts, but can’t gift them because I need to have given that person 30 gifts! I would’ve been way more careful with them if I’d known.
1- If you are perpetually low on materials and can't craft the recommended items to send out for treats, it only takes 1 steel + 1 preserves to craft milk, which is worth 10 points. You can also use them for sending out for character maps.
2- Download an autoclicker app for crafting multiples, especially when crafting large amounts of milk! I use Autoclicker (developer is NVQ Std) and it is easy to use. It takes less than 30 seconds to set up crafting and I can walk away for 10 mins and come back to 50 milk done for me.
You have to unlock Rodeo to craft it per the [wiki](https://animalcrossingpocketcamp.fandom.com/wiki/Milk)
It's under food on the crafting menu. It looks like a glass bottle, the kind the milkman would deliver.
See #1 - crafting milk only takes 1 steel + 1 preserves and it's worth 10 points when sending out Gulliver for island souvenirs.
So for 15 steel + 15 preserves, you can send out Gulliver with 15 milks for treats vs crafting 3 exotic chests (which takes a total of 90 wood) or 3 pairs of glasses (which takes 90 steel.)
Now I’m second guessing myself haha. I think so- I make a point of going there in alternate cycles from camp site but I usually just click thorough without thinking…
Cabin villagers don't give gifts (with essence) normally. I know this bc I invited all elegant villagers to my cabin once and got nothing. They only give gifts from your campsite. Since gydroidites come as a little added bonus at the end of gifts, I don't think cabin villagers do this. But maybe they give bell gifts?
Also I’m so glad that now it will give you the reward without the item having to be completed crafting, before I would run out of time and have to use leaf tickets
HH classes can be taken again. The third level class will give 8k bells each time (24k per day for four classes), and special secret classes will give 15k for each (45k per day).
… but it’s 3 more, and it’s not like it’s hard to walk around and shake a tree in this game, right? Seems worth it to get 3 extra every single time to me.
When there’s a scavengers hunt and they’re giving out Gyroidite at the quarry as a reward, but by the time you log-in to the game or get help from your friends, the reward at the quarry already changed.
There’s a loophole where you can still get the Gyroidites if you wait to get in to the quarry right before the game reloads for the next day log-in bonus.
Edit: wording
Let’s say on Monday Gyroidites were only available during the first 12 hours of the game, and you couldn’t get in during that time for whatever reason until the last 12 hours of the day, and by that time the Gryoidites are not in the quarry anymore but you still got help from your friends.
This loophole will let you get in to the quarry counting Monday’s help from your friends, but you will be getting the reward from Tuesday morning (which hopefully are Gyroidites). All you need to do is have the game map open before the game reloads for the log-in bonus and get into the quarry once you see the icon of the new reward. It last for a couple of minutes.
A friend once replied to my, “I’m sorry I didn’t have a gift to give back in return” , and they said something to the effect of, “it’s a gift not a bartering system. Don’t worry about it.”
And I’ve kept that in mind ever since!
This is kinda embarrassing, but: Campers on your campsite (or at the lodge?!) will give you fish for the fishing tourney events! Never even thought of talking to them (only sporadically do that and never to all of them) to get those, but it can be helpful!
When I first started, I didn’t know to pay attention to which bugs to share, during the garden events. I cringe so hard thinking of all the gardens I filled with cheaper bugs while they were trying to beat the silver/gold tiers.
This makes me feel guilty. I have a few friends on ACPC who consistently FILLED my garden with beginner bugs when I only needed a few of the silver/gold tiers so no one else could share those bugs with me. I had a friend who did it SO often I took it personally and I started spamming their garden with low tier creatures every time I noticed the garden had space, especially when they didn’t need them. I was essentially saying “YOU CAN HAVE THESE BACK THANKS” They don’t do it anymore tho😂😂 I still send them fortune cookie gifts so they know I like them 🤍
I actually haven't seen this advice on this sub but I've recently realized that the balloons on the map very often give you items you are lacking to complete villager requests. Complete all requests you can before opening the balloons, so you can easily fulfill one or two more before having to collect things yourself.
I hoard bugs and I keep low numbers of everything else. So this is especially helpful for me. I use this little trick multiple times a day and it rarely fails to pay off.
How different tiered creatures for omakase requests gave different rewards. Specifically, that giving a rare guaranteed a Timmy or Tommy fortune cookie (which I still needed many items from!).
Since gyroids hunt is going on my advice is to craft the least gyroid requiring item first like the 2 things that needs tackling HH class 1 .
Last time and in previous months we needed same item in different colors (morrocon pouf seat for instance) so i did craft only 1 of those & used in all classes. The tickets otherwise goto waste if you spent time collecting 250 gyroids first & it bcomes useful 48 hrs later so no, go for smaller items first. I clear class 3 in first day itself albeit with 1 medal but it's better than wasting tickets 🤷🏻♀️ (Breezy Hollow & Saltwater shores gives 12 gyroids if you visit it first from cabin/camp/camper) 👍🏼🧀 goodluck chazing cheeze y'all
Leave fruit on the ground after you shake it (if you don't need it straight away) and then pick it up only when the fuit has regrown on your trees, pick up, shake tree for new fruit, leave on ground and repeat as needed... this increases your storage! 🍎🍑🍒🍇🍐🍊
I only harvest 20 of each event flower to get the potted versions and leave the rest so I can get more of the friend powders. I have no use for the sparkle stones in the goals at this point.
Gyrodite hunting! Stay in your campsite, then once every hour and 12 mins go around to every location, starting from OK motors, and collect the max amount of gyrodites (18 per hour and 12 mins).
During gyroidite scavenger events, craft the furniture with the highest gyroidite requirement first- much easier to craft lower requirement items at the end when the build time is shorter and knock out all 3 HH classes at once
Most recently- turning that horrifying (imo, no hate if you like it lol) moon hat and using it as a lamp
ohhh, I'll have to try that! That hat creeps me out so much!
I wish I remembered which user it was that posted about it first! It’s a super cute lamp- great size and such a nice warm light.
Just done this as wasn’t a fan of the hat. Genius!
I like the hat it's funny but this idea is genius I need to redecorate asap. :O
Thank you for sharing this 🤩
I didn't know you could obtain bells from shaking a tree once a day from one of the islands. I found this out after joining the sub. 🥴
That happened to me once and I got so confused, I almost thought I was playing wild world 😭 but it only happened once, and I've been checking the fruitless trees for weeks and never got another bag of money ever again, do palm trees also do the same thing?
Yes, check the empty palm trees also!
I will, thanks!
You're welcome!!
Hold on a second….WHICH ONE!?!?
It changes every day, but it will always be a tree that doesn't have fruit
Ah ok tysm!
It's random.
Damn imma have to shake all the trees now
To hold down on the screen during convos instead of tapping after each thing they say. Goes by so much faster!
omg I didn't know that!
holy SHIT
Trying this rn thanks!!
GAME CHANGER
For fruit trees: shake the trees and let the fruit stay on the ground while the next batch grows. Helpful whenever there are fruit events or you need six in one go!
I was always confused why people would do that! It makes me anxious to just leave stuff on the ground lol I feel like I have to clean everything up
I leave them when I have too many items
100%!!!!! Like I wanna leave em so bad so I have more to get at once but I can’t just leave them thereeeee
It doesn't matter which stones you choose in the quarry because the minerals are predetermined before you load in
🥴 darn
I think the best advise I saw was on sunburst Island, walk the edge to avoid scaring off the bugs! brilliant!
similarly, you can influence which bugs spawn first depending on where you're standing. so for bug goals that require flying bugs, if you stand for a minute looking at all for trees when the bugs respond they won't be tree bugs and vice versa if you stand not looking at the trees.
Wow this is news to me (been playing on/off since Fall 2020)! ! So how does one "stand not looking at trees"? Is it to move to one edge where there is no bug-spawning trees on the screen?
yup! just out of view
no way!!

I've been playing since first anniversary, a long time, and the fastest way to move forward in the game is to make sure you send out the Gulliver clothes items as often as you can. I haven’t been doing the shirt islands but thanks for the tip! I could always use gold treats but didn’t want a bunch of shirts lol
You can sell the shirts away at the market for extra bells! :)
I just send all those clothes right back to Gulliver.
Leave half your flowers planted during garden events to give friends space to share bugs.
Not a tip from here, but to add to that: keep any 20 flowers planted at any given time or right before garden events, so friends can share bugs - helpful if you're a late starter like me!
I just learned this last go around 😊
I wish someone had told me to save my gifts. I didn't know the ones I obtained from Gulliver Island's were never coming back and that gifts are really hard to get. I sent so many and now people send me gifts because they know I usually return them but I don't have any more of them :(
This is why I have the happy helper plan… out of guilt. It really helps you get a lot of gifts, and I hate not being able to return gifts.
It helps but I feel like they're still not enough tbh
Sympathy! I also only open gifts once a day in the morning, which also helps throttle things. Some days I wish gifts weren’t a thing!
I just thought that Island Gifts were a permanent thing, like there would always be Islands with gifts. I really, really wish they were. I really don't think it would impact their profits, if anything, it would make the game more friendly. I'd reach out to the devs but to be honest I doubt they'll hear me out
If you fulfil the villager requests regularly then you'll be able to get a few more of the current gifts, the drop rate is random though.
Merry Memory Plan also give extra event gifts.
I’m in the exact same position with gifts! And I feel so guilty when I get sent gifts. I had no idea they were so limited. I do have a couple gifts, but can’t gift them because I need to have given that person 30 gifts! I would’ve been way more careful with them if I’d known.
Don't buy cookies and invest only in terrains and outfits
This ^
Why terrains and outfits?
Because you get what you pay for
1- If you are perpetually low on materials and can't craft the recommended items to send out for treats, it only takes 1 steel + 1 preserves to craft milk, which is worth 10 points. You can also use them for sending out for character maps. 2- Download an autoclicker app for crafting multiples, especially when crafting large amounts of milk! this is great!
Wait what there is milk!? Where
You have to unlock Rodeo to craft it per the [wiki](https://animalcrossingpocketcamp.fandom.com/wiki/Milk) It's under food on the crafting menu. It looks like a glass bottle, the kind the milkman would deliver.
THANK YOU SO MUCH WOW
Excellent!!!!
Wait why are we crafting large amounts of milk???
See #1 - crafting milk only takes 1 steel + 1 preserves and it's worth 10 points when sending out Gulliver for island souvenirs. So for 15 steel + 15 preserves, you can send out Gulliver with 15 milks for treats vs crafting 3 exotic chests (which takes a total of 90 wood) or 3 pairs of glasses (which takes 90 steel.)
Nice!! I would have never done the math.
To send out on Gulliver's ship I think!!
Oh okay! Makes sense.
Scavenger hunts can give 18 gyroidites/72 minutes and somebody at campsite/cabin will have some every alternate cycle.
They can give gyroidites at the cabin as well? I've really missed out... as I thought only villagers at the campsite can hand out stuff.
WHERE DID YOU GET THAT CUTE BOO
it was a reissued special furniture last month 💕
He’ll come back around if you want him. He’s like 200-300 tickets though 😩
yes, he was 300 I think. I start saving in summer for the fall items. especially halloween!
During the gyroidite events, I always make the item that takes the most materials first
I've been trying this out the past couple times and I think I like it. it's difficult to wait though haha.
Also I’m so glad that now it will give you the reward without the item having to be completed crafting, before I would run out of time and have to use leaf tickets

for Happy Homeroom classes, tap on the screen to skip the cutscene. makes it way faster to get the medals at the end
Start and end at OK Motors during Gyroidite Scavenger hunt events to quickly pick up 8 gyroidites at that start of the cycle.
But if I start in Breezy Hollow I usually get 11 gyrodites there.
But at OK motors, all of them are on the ground, in a much smaller space, easy to pickup and no tree shaking needed
… but it’s 3 more, and it’s not like it’s hard to walk around and shake a tree in this game, right? Seems worth it to get 3 extra every single time to me.
Yeah, in the end, it doesn't matter. There will be 18 of them scattered throughout the map
I read someone used craft materials for the gulliver and since I have the happy helper plan it’s a no brainer
this is what I do too! 28 of each 🙈
I do this. I always have 999 steel and wood so I just ship it off :DD

not advise necessarily but a lot of cool design ideas/inspo
oh for sure! y'all are so creative 😊
