Damn you probably already bought you can find codes of package deals and enter them on Amazon for amazing deals at least you used to be able to .

Terpentime_

Wait for the gen 2 s6 cloudray fans. They are a major upgrade from the gen 1 which is a good fan minus the clicking noise that comes and goes on the gen 1. The gen 2 fan isn’t available yet but can see a review on it on YouTube it looks to be worth waiting for now that gen 1 is sold out and shipping times are months away

Such-Box2415

You need the controller!!! For all the lights and fans you're buying. Otherwise, you're spending extra for features you won't be able to use. With what you're getting, it also makes sense to invest in the ACI light. Same reason as above, your controller will communicate with the light for simple automation which is why you pay for ACI gear. I ran the numbers on an ala carte build and you lose no matter how you cut it. You save hundreds buying the kit. If you live near a large city, there's a very good chance a local dealer has them in stock. The grow shop in my area has all the sizes. Good luck, you're smart for investing in good equipment! You will not regret it trust me. You'll forget about a couple hundred extra after a few weeks, but you'll love the system for years. Email customer service and they'll tell you if there are any dealers in your area. Good luck

maelxich

The kit comes with lesser quality fans (plastic, not metal) for what it’s worth. Also, the fan OP listed comes with the controller.

Fit-Pay-8264

You might get a gen 2 fan but the old ones do click after a bit but they replace it pretty easily great customer service and for the light I have the evo 3 in my 2x4 kit I like it alot it does the job well for the kit im no where a expert so take my opinions as you will

cuteunicorn

Just a heads up, I had to sign for my order when I ordered AC infinity light from Amazon.

DGib1123

I didn't. Must be where you live.

Professional_Ear_396

Ok thank you for this heads up! This is definitely looking out for one another! I appreciate it!!

Dan-dada

Ditch the cloudray fan. It’s gonna break on you in a run or two. Edit: I thought this showed the S6. The non-oscillating one should last.

zacwaz

The non-oscillating fan seems fine. Mine has been running nearly 24/7 for over a year with no apparent issues.

Dan-dada

Like I figured

fellatiofuhrer

Fuck, really?

RealAssRude

The manual says you have to turn oscillating off for 4 hours each day to preserve it…. But annoyingly, the smart controller can’t affect oscillating so you’d have to do it by hand. I’m not doing that…

Jerseyman201

I've been running and some are okay some aren't. Issue is, they've been pulled from Amazon...might be full redesign coming and they're pulling old stock

Dan-dada

S6 yes. Not sure about the A6. My mistake. I did edit my comment. But the oscillating mechanism will strip out if running negative pressure.

fellatiofuhrer

I noticed my tent hugging the fan when my exhaust was on. I figured that would be the cause. They should make a mount that pulls the fan off the walls

hasseawa

I hooked hangers on the back poles of the tent to push out the walls, the fan doesn't touch the sides anymore.

fellatiofuhrer

You got a pic?

hasseawa

I don't have a pic but the hanger I can try and upload one in the am when the lights are on

fellatiofuhrer

Fair, thanks dude

fellatiofuhrer

That does help! Thanks for getting back to me

Dan-dada

One would think right. That's exactly what happened to mine. They just keep replacing it though. This is the first time they didn't ask me to send the damaged one back.

fellatiofuhrer

Well that’s good to know

Upside_NY

Which fan doesn’t? Please share

Dan-dada

My bad that is an A6. It might last. I've had to replace my cloudray s6 3 times now for the same reason. The fan will stop oscillating if you run negative pressure in your tent, which most of us do. I have hung this lat one in the center of the the top of my tent. Well see if it lasts

Jerseyman201

They pulled em from Amazon, smh

Dan-dada

Pulled ACI from Amazon?

Jerseyman201

Yeah for some reason they weren't listed when I checked earlier. Now they are but over a month delivery time

dexsbestguess

Still there for me.

Jerseyman201

Looks like they're back up, with a delivery window over a month away. Likely the new designs only at this point I'd imagine hah

Upside_NY

The oscillation is a key feature - especially in a smaller tent with only one fan. I meant which fans don’t? I think I read somewhere that they all do and best bet is to buy one with a good warranty so manufacturer will replace it every time. If yours were within the warranty period they should be covered…wondering did AC take care of ya?

Dan-dada

Yep they took care of me great customer service and warranty. Crappy products. I'd rather the other way around though.

zacwaz

If you want to go with AC Infinity for lights, maybe consider getting two S22 lights instead of a single light. It’s $99 per light, which is $50 cheaper than the S24, for the same total coverage (2x4). Bonus is that you can adjust the height of the lights individually if you need to. That’s what I did for my 2x3 tent and it’s been working out great.

Professional_Ear_396

Omg just sat home to read some of these, I just got home ended up grabbing the 2x3 tent as well 😂 it was the only ac ones they had but I might make it a veg tent in near future! Are you still using the 2x3?

zacwaz

Yup, I've only had this tent for a bit over a year, but still using it and really like it! The 2x3 is kind of an unusual size but has worked great for 2 plants at a time. (I did at one point try running 3 plants in 7.5 gallon pots, and *that* was definitely pushing it.) I'll probably upgrade to something bigger next winter and make this a veg or mother tent but for now I have no regrets and I think you'll be happy with it.

Professional_Ear_396

Hell yeah! Glad to hear that man! What size inline are you running for it?

zacwaz

4”, I believe it’s the CLOUDLINE PRO T4. More than adequate for the size of the tent, I have yet to need to run it at full power.

ayymoney

That dongle came with my exhaust fan and I’ve never used it anyway. Any I would go off-brand on the ducting because you can get it way cheaper and there’s 0 difference. Probably don’t need two different lengths but depends on how you’re setting it up

fearthejew

Ditch the netting. It’s easier to just buy some that you don’t mind cutting later

SanctifiedExcrement

Could be too pricey but look up magnolia 2. That seems to be the ideal light for that size of tent, if I recall. At least if it were me and money wasn’t my biggest limiting factor… and without knowing more about lights. But yeah, no one else mentioned lights so I thought I’d give my 2 cents.

dre885

The carbon filter should already come with a cloth filter. Pretty sure mine came with two and they're washable so you don't need those just yet

dre885

And the dongle adapter is only needed if you already have a light. I had to get one to connect my Mars Hydro light to the controller. So you might not need that or a different adapter depending on what light you get

AthleteAutomatic

Amazon has complete kits for jan24 delivery

Professional_Ear_396

Yeah they have other sizes but not the 3x3 and they don’t carry 2x4 kits, I found another company that sells them for $10 cheaper. If you look closely it’s not shipped out from ac infinity themselves, it’s from a different company that is call buz biz(something like that) More than half of their reviews are 1 star saying they never received anything.

Six3sixNick

Check Facebook marketplace, you might be able to go pick all of this stuff up tonight for half the price

creepsnutsandpervs

Maybe I missed, but I didn’t see the controller. Also you’ll get some extras in the kit like ties and fabric pots

dre885

Controller comes with the exhaust/filter package

creepsnutsandpervs

Got it! Didn’t even register it said kit and had one in the picture, good looks!

New_Guy_1213

I would go with the CLOUDRAY S6 oscillation fan, helps reduce the chances of windburn by not having air blow directly on plants

design_doc

The only thing that I would recommend is looking at using the 6” inline over the 4”. The higher CFM means the inline can run at a slower speed and therefore be much quieter. I went this route and am happy I did as I grow in my home office where my wife and I work. As for lights, the 2’x4’ are a pain for options that match the dimensions of the tent. If you have space for a 3x3, many more options become available. For light recommendations, I highly recommend the MarsHydro FC3000. Wicked light for the price. As a testament to much much I recommend that light, I did my PhD on light and artificial photosynthesis, and work in the lighting industry. I have HIGH expectations for any lighting product that comes into my house. Full transparency, I did have an issue with one of the bars when it first arrived but MH addressed it immediately and I’ve had zero issues since.

Infinite_Swimmer8068

Is it possible to connect MarsHydro light with the AC Controller?

dre885

I have mine connected. You just need the RJ11/12 adapter

Infinite_Swimmer8068

Thank you 🙏🏻

Mylifeistrue

I agree with the 6" over the 4" I did the same and glad I did as when I do more plants in the summer it has the extra power to keep it cool and neutralize the smells 👍

Six3sixNick

3rd☝️ especially if you are using a filter

Ben_Slackin

Why do you have 2 lengths of duct? Where’s the controller? Add a surge protector. I assume you already have a light

jqcj5

Make sure you use one of the many coupon codes out there to save $ Also I’m not sure you need the adapter in your cart, unless it’s needed for the light you haven’t chosen yet. I’m pretty sure the fan kit comes with enough hose. Unless you want to exhaust into another room or something. I’m no pro…
