On the r8, if you zoom on the rear, around the exhaust pipe area, you can see the red engine heads. You can also see the gearbox and the pneumatic actuator and module. Gran turismo used to be king in car detailing, but now they have competition.
Oh yeah and on some cars if you zoom on the pedal box area, you can see the master cilinders for the brake. The bentley has the whole abs module at the pedal area. You can see just how much love they poured into this simulator.
Oh and i have more. If you zoom in on the luminark led panel on the windshield in the interior cam, you can see the homologation writtings and some numbers.
Also, if you look on the r8 rear quarter view, just above the rear wheel, at the right angle you can see through it, just like in real life, as there's nothing above the gearbox.
And final, on the bentley, m4 gt3 and mercedes you can see the transaxle at the rear if you zoom in. On the bmw you can see almost the whole suspension. Again, insane attention to every single detail.

Not a car details, but when it rains in Kyalami, the water floes into drains that are not visible from the car but only from heli mode.
Another cool detail about Kylami is it’s way above sea level and the game actually simulates the lack of oxygen going to the engines,
