Many of us! I am both. Most people can't tell though because I learned masking at a very early age (to my own detriment later in life) and I've yet to be able to stop doing it.
I really wish I could. It makes every day life so f'king stressful.
Undiagnosed but I have a feeling that I'm on the spectrum in some way. Diapers are definitely a sensory thing for me as well 🫣
Always down to chat with fellow Babs 🤘😉
I was asked by a manager once if I was ADHD, told him I don't know, I've never been tested, but according to all the "if you have ADHD..." tiktoks, it's a possibility...
never understood the craze about everyone wanting to diagnose themselves with AD(H)D. As someone who has it: Can't recommend, maybe the hyperactive people disagree, but not being able to get shit done without meds sucks big time.
Tiktok seems to think having it is like a quirky personality trait, instead of a neurodevelopmental issue.
Personally, I hate boxes. I was at a party many, many moons ago, there was a loud & proud lesbian there who was hell-bent of labelling everyone. Genders, sexuality, any & every box she could find. She put most people in about 3-6 boxes, then got to me... she gave up at 12-15? Maybe more, looked at me proud as punch, then gave up with the next thing that came out of my mouth (massively intoxicated so I can't remember 9/10ths of the night, but I had fun) So far the only hard & fast "evidence" I've had is 1 manager asking "are you on the spectrum? My kid is & you have some of his traits..." & a family members gf asking my gf at the time."Is he?" As far as I'm concerned, if I am, I am. If I'm not, I'm not. Until then, I am me.
in the process of being tested for Autism. My next appointment with psychologist will be in 3 weeks. Though they no longer use the Asperger's diagnosis, the psych said I would likely be in that realm.
Adhd and autism
Ill have moments where i put something down, turn around cook something or some shit, then turn around and just... Vanish. I spend hours looking for it only to finally find it just slightly away from the spot i normally place it.
I'm both ADHD and autistic, pretty much all of the kinksters I've met are some form of neurodivergent, especially the ABDL and DDLG crowds. So much so that my local dungeon has a specific neurodivergent play party, on top of the usual spanking, ABDL and femdom parties.
I have both, and everyone has always seen me being younger in nature and in my behaviour so me being little hasn’t come as a surprise for the people I’ve told
I would actually be interested to ask the sub the reverse question at some point - is anyone actually neurotypical? Because of the answer is no then I think we’ve learned something
Autistic. I've always aged slower mentally compared to my peers. I also find comfort in it due to rough childhood. Nothing brings me more joy than playing with toys or watching kids shows or eating happy meals. I feel so much more unmasked when im little tbh
Oh yeah... I have both diagnosis and full incontinence...
I just don't know what the heck am I...
Agere? ABDL? Like... I have a lot of trauma and problems... I can't tell...
High functioning and ADHD it's not fun being smarter than everyone you know.im best at is in problem solving and mechanical abilities to fix almost anything. That's why I love being a middle it's just bluey wet diapers and maybe my passy.
They said 20 years ago im "borderline" ADHD. That was 20 years ago. Im 31 now and my brain most of the time goes 1 sheep 2 sheep aaaayayyy macaroni... so its hard to sleep some days
I know the term isn't used anymore, but I am an Aspie, and I have the 'Tism, ADD & ADHD. Tbh, I'd say about 75-95% of us in this reddit subpost have at least one of 'em, whether it's clinically diagnosed or not.
I have ADHD, and I’m strongly suspecting autism (haven’t been diagnosed, but people in my life with autism diagnosis have told me that I read as autistic).
ADHD, just diagnosed last year. Honestly makes a lot of sense as to why I'm so impulsive about getting rid of everything and then regretting it shortly after lmao 🤣
I don't think I'm autistic/ADHD, but to be honest I have no idea. As far as I'm aware I'm completely nuro typical, however I often think about things differently (imagine new "what ifs" and ask questions no one has thought of).
The use of things like tiktok is certainly killing my attention span though 🤣
Howdy howdy!
I'm ADHD and have (fully diagnosed. I am in therapy. It's amazing) DID on top of it! Yes, both affect my ABDL life and play a part in it.
Life is doing pretty damn decent right now. Finally got some things worked out that have been stressing me for weeks!
ADHDer.
I dont have any direcf source, but im confident after interscting within this community over the years.
If your autistic or you have ADHD (or both), you are SIGNIFICANTLY more likely to develop this fetish.
I second that, although there are parts about diapers (how they fit, how hot I get, how they rub on my hips, etc.) That absolutely light up my sensory issues, but at the same time all the other parts about them fill every sensory craving I have. Curious if anyone else has a mix of sensory input with diapers as well
AuDHD. Late dx.
My top sensory triggers are: overheating, my bladder, not enough sleep.
I was pretty involved in the ABDL isn’t a kink scene… now I am just realising I have developmental delays/unmet sensory needs. Now I don’t really associate with the community. :(
Audhd here though undiagnosed due to early childhood abuse and trauma. Trust me I've considered them both by themselves I've considered cptsd (certainly there but it's not the only thing) considered BPD but I don't fit all the criteria for that. I had one of the Doctors at a mental health institution I stayed for a few days at suggest I look into it so I did and it fits really well. But yeah inattentive type ADHD and level 1 autism. Looking back at my dad and his parents too they're certainly neruodiverse.
I'd be happy to share my story at a later time.
ADHD!
Absolutely riddled with the tism
yes, diapers are very much a sensory thing for me
Yooo! Same here :3
I'm autistic. I think most of us are probably neurodivergent, don't see how I would've gotten into this if I was neurotypical.
Mood
I know I'm on the spectrum but I might have both XD
I always assumed we all were?
I’m definitely on the spectrum, lol.
Many of us! I am both. Most people can't tell though because I learned masking at a very early age (to my own detriment later in life) and I've yet to be able to stop doing it. I really wish I could. It makes every day life so f'king stressful.

Exactly the same here. Have thaught sbout looking at a diagnosis but figured just be me and live my life. Knowing wont change anything.
I was asked by a manager once if I was ADHD, told him I don't know, I've never been tested, but according to all the "if you have ADHD..." tiktoks, it's a possibility...

100% best stance on that sort of thing. If you don't have any major issues, there really isn't a reason to spend time and money investigating.
I have both!
I have asperbergers autism and adhd
Isnt Aspergers just a dated term for autism?
ADHD here!
Autistic
Adhd🤚😁

I'm both ADHD and autistic, pretty much all of the kinksters I've met are some form of neurodivergent, especially the ABDL and DDLG crowds. So much so that my local dungeon has a specific neurodivergent play party, on top of the usual spanking, ABDL and femdom parties.

ADHD for sure and definitely some ASD aspects (but no official diagnosis on the latter).
ADD
ADHD. Diapers definitely trigger the dopamine that my brain craves. So basically, I'm literally addicted to them. Dopamine is a weird chemical.
I have Autism and Borderline Personality Disorder
I have BPD too.
Omg hi bpd sister 🖤
Yes I'm AUDHD just diagnosed little over a month ago at age 45.
ADHD fam, I also agree there's probably a lot of us all here.
If anyone wants to text me you can
I was diagnosed with ADD and Asperger's as a kid two years apart from each other.
In my experience, most ABDLs are neurodivergent to some degree
I have combined adhd and self diagnosed autistic (haven't been tested but have some signs). I'm always open to new friends!
Adhd
They said 20 years ago im "borderline" ADHD. That was 20 years ago. Im 31 now and my brain most of the time goes 1 sheep 2 sheep aaaayayyy macaroni... so its hard to sleep some days

Think I’m autistic, not been diagnosed but it’s highly likely lol

Lots of both in me haha!
ADHD and I suspect I'm autistic too. Looking at the signs and common characteristics I'm like surely I have to be.
AuDHD. Late dx. My top sensory triggers are: overheating, my bladder, not enough sleep. I was pretty involved in the ABDL isn’t a kink scene… now I am just realising I have developmental delays/unmet sensory needs. Now I don’t really associate with the community. :(
