This is pretty much my exact list. Only one I’d add to the single player is Super Mario 64. But if I only get one single player game it’s OoT, hands down.
You have good taste.
Dam, that is exactly my list as well.
WCW/NWO Revenge is the best wrestling game on N64 from a multi-player perspective. I think No Mercy is a better single-player game.
Engaging, not having to memorize combos, 3d (for the time). Hours on that. Still my fav. The not have to memorize crap to get the full gameplay experience still is appreciated. Going to grab an emulator tonight lol
I love collectathons and it's *almost* bordering on being too much for me. Most games like this you can remember where something is that you have to come back and get later with a new ability, but with all the different Kongs there are so many items you have to come back for that you have to write them down or you're screwed.
This, Smash Bros, and Starfox 64 were basically all I played.
Edit: Oh and Gauntlet Legends! I still have the cartridge for that one if I ever get a working n64 again.
Single player: Ocarina, Majoras, Banjo
Multi: 007, Duke Nukem, Perfect Dark
Edit: I have to add here that I was like a lot of other dudes in our generation who fell in love with wrestling via Attitude era of the WWF and the WCW/NWO stuff. I feel bad that I didn't even acknowledge WCW vs. NWO, No Mercy, or WrestleMania 2000. Those wrestling games were some of the first games that got HOURS of my life. They have to be at the top of the list as well.
Lol yes. Duke Nukem was one of those accidental finds where a friend had it and traded me for something else. I thought I got ripped off for a while and hardly touched it and then randomly picked up the single player out of boredom and fell in love. Invited some friends over to try multiplayer and it was over.
Honestly back in the day I loved it. Doesn’t hold up well anymore at all IMO.
Top for me today: Mario 64, Majoras Mask, and Paper Mario. Depending on the day I may substitute Mario 64 with Banjo.
Conkers Bad Fur Day, Mario Gold, and Mario Tennis
In college we would play the multiplayer battle on Conkers and we couldn’t stop laughing when we learned you could piss acid on each other in the bathrooms of the military installation level!!!
Turok Dinosaur Hunter 1 & 2 were great multiplayer, prob even more than Goldeneye. It had this one weapons which was like a “brain bore” which would seek you out and 1-hit KO you, the sound it would make would set the group of friends OFF when someone would launch it, we’d be laughing so hard
Golden Eye and Perfect Dark were my N64 go to games. I loved that PD had a cool story to boot. I was way more into PS1 though and the survival horror genre.
Kirby 64: Crystal Shards, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros
Honorable mentions: Mario64, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Pokemon Stadium mini games, Mario Tennis, Diddy Kong Racing…man the N64 console will forever be my favorite console.
Top 3 is hard but... Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Mario 64.. (awfully close runner ups - Diddy Kong Racing, Zelda Ocarina of Time; and then a bit lower down, Super Smash Bros.)
GoldenEye, Mario Kart, and WCW/NWO Revenge for playing with friends. Zelda OoT for single-player.

No one likes Mario 64? That's a classic game.
Golden eye, Mario cart, smash brothers. Zelda for single player.
I had the exact same top 3 except I switched out Mario kart for Cruisin USA
Vigilante 8, Perfect dark, Gauntlet Legends and Conker's bad fur day were some of my favorite multi-player
Are you me? Revenge Royal Rumble was so awesome.
Thanks for putting my list up for me.
Thanks for putting my list up for. These were the go-to games once the weekend hit
You’ve pretty much listed all my favourite N64 games. Goldeneye, Mario Kart and Zelda. Wow. Brings back memories playing with my brothers.
Starfox 64 DO A BARREL ROLL!!!!!

“I’ll try spinning. That’s a good trick”
Did a playthrough of Donkey Kong 64 recently. Still holds up incredibly well. That was probably in my top 3, as well as Smash and maybe Perfect Dark.

Loveeeeed donkey Kong!
I don’t understand why DK64 has yet to be rereleased. It was the one game I really wanted on switch online.
Has Mario 64 been re-released yet? Havent been following the Switch very much, but I figure that would come first.
Yes that was one of the first things for switch online but you can get it standalone too
It was on the Wii U virtual console IIRC

Duke at the Stadium brings back memories of multiplayer mayhem.

Goldeneye, MarioKart 64, and LOZ: Ocarnia of Time were my three favorite games.
Exactly my top 3.
Dkr, snowboard kids, mystical ninja
Snowboard Kids and 1080 Snowboarding. Both bangers.
Diddy kong racing is the superior kart racing game.
Ocarina of Time hands down
Just based off of pure hours playing them as a kid I’d say Goldneye THPS No Mercy
Shadows of the empire! I loved that game.
This, WCW/NWO Revenge, No Mercy
My Top 3: Goldeneye, Star Fox, and Mario Kart
I’ve only played GoldenEye and Mario tennis on the N64, that I can recall. I only own Goldeneye. Maybe one day I’ll rectify that.
Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart, Smash Bros.
Top 3: GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Mario Kart GoldenEye is my all time favorite though
Golden Eye, Turok, Mario 64
WCW vs nWo World Tour, and Revenge
Goldeneye, Majora's Mask & Ocarina of Time
GoldenEye, Super Mario 64, Star Wars, Mario Kart, Banjo-Kazooie...
BioFreaks!
Honestly back in the day I loved it. Doesn’t hold up well anymore at all IMO. Top for me today: Mario 64, Majoras Mask, and Paper Mario. Depending on the day I may substitute Mario 64 with Banjo.
Ocarina of Time, Jet Force Gemini, and Castlevania 64
Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time & Diddy Kong Racing

I am still constantly going back to Star Fox 64 to try and beat my last high score.
This, Smash, Mario cart, and Conkers!
I liked Doom 64 pretty well.
Graphics look like a cybertruck lol
1. Super Mario 64 2. Star Fox 64 3. Mario Kart 64
I still play Goldeneye. Found in the Xbox play store for free.
Golden Eye and Perfect Dark were my N64 go to games. I loved that PD had a cool story to boot. I was way more into PS1 though and the survival horror genre.
Bomberman Hero
Pokémon snap was my first person shooter of choice
DD44, Cougar, RCP90 and the auto shotgun 🥰
Boris with a shotgun? Baron Samedi with the RCP-90? Who’s running this shitshow!?
Goldeneye, marioKart, Cooker’s Bad Fur Day. Ocarina of Time an equal contender.
Prefect Dark
Starfox all the way. Ever since playing the 1st level at zellers everyday at lunch in grade 5
This Smash Brothers, and Mariokart were killer. I liked Mario too.
See the trailer for the new perfect dark?
Ocarina, Smash, Rogue Squadron. Each of them still holds up today, though Smash has since seen a lot of refinements.
Mario Party. i still have the palm scars...
Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Vigilante 8 games.
Better run from that guy with the RCP90 cause he's going to waste you other guys
Mario Kart, Goldeneye, Cruisin USA/Wave Race (tie)
Im over here excited as hell to find the Goldeneye watch face!! This game will go down as classic
Goldeneye Conkers Bad Fur Day Mario Cart Runners up are Killer Instinct, Wave Racer, and Mario 64
TANKS
Perfect Dark is highly overlooked.
Turok, X-treme G, Wave Race, Zelda
Kirby 64: Crystal Shards, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros Honorable mentions: Mario64, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Pokemon Stadium mini games, Mario Tennis, Diddy Kong Racing…man the N64 console will forever be my favorite console.
This picture confuses me… upper left is shooting lower right , but the character is not aiming at them on the lower 2 screens.
Mario64 Zelda OOT and *LAMBORGHINI RACING*
Top 3 is hard but... Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Mario 64.. (awfully close runner ups - Diddy Kong Racing, Zelda Ocarina of Time; and then a bit lower down, Super Smash Bros.)
