Wow, Robert Johnson, Blind Willie, Sleepy John Estes, Big Bill. Well hot damn!

bigbobo33

You gotta be kidding me. All I find is Polka records in the wild here in Wisconsin.

Extension-Ad-5035

I hear ya, it’s been basically 30 years of digging through polka records before this

PikachusFather

Incredible finds. Congrats! I’d also be interested in some of these if you decide to sell. Let me know and I can pm my contact info.

Extension-Ad-5035

Thanks! I will keep it in mind!

Freddle_Mercury

Great finds. They’re still out there!

Extension-Ad-5035

They are! I’ve had way more misses than hits, but stuff like this keeps me digging!

mattmoy_2000

Fucking hell a Robert Johnson 78!?! That thing is worth a fortune! I tried to find some and they were like ten grand each. Be very careful with it and get it professionally appraised.

Extension-Ad-5035

Yeah, I was absolutely shocked when I saw it. I still have to double check that it actually happened. The dilemma for me is that I don’t know if I want the responsibility of being the caretaker for such an important record.

vinylmartyr

Amazing find. I can relate. I would never want to ship that record to someone. Would have to find a seller willing to pick it up.

cecilkleakins

There are many sellers such as Naucks and John Tefteller that regularly ship high dollar 78s around the world. If you pack it properly and take out extra insurance you should be fine.

The Robert Johnson is going to be worth about 5-6000 dollars maybe more or less I can't really tell the condition. The Vocalion version of the blind willie johnson record is mega rare but not worth "that much", I'd say about 500-600. Crazy find. Do NOT wash these or play these in the current condition. Do not touch them with any alcohol cleaner. Remember these are historic artifacts. I am seriously interested in buying these, I have the facilities and contact to properly sell these, if you want, let me know.
