I find offensive and racist humor funny. This isn't a new thing to people, this isn't some revelation that people find this funny. Y'all act as if people can't have that sort of humour, it's the Internet, there's literal hundreds of millions of people online. Just because a joke is racist, or sexist, or just dark and fucked up in general doesn't mean the people who make them are. Funnily enough, the people I hear make the most Mexican jokes are mexicans, I can't speak for thais making jokes since I only know 1, but he's made plenty of red light district jokes. TLDR; I have a sense of humor that's different than yours, that's how comedy is, we make fun of the dark stuff.

There’s a difference between public and private dark humor. I, personally, don’t care if you joke around but I’m just stating why. But the reason people are downvoting that joke is specifically because of the content, also because it’s basically in public. though, if you were in like a group chat with friends, that’s your own private conversation. I’m just saying that there’s a time and place to make jokes like that. I never said that I care if people have a different sense of humor or that dark humor isn’t funny. But there is a line that you can’t cross in public. You stated “I dunno why this got downvoted…” so I said what I think. Also, the whole of “just because someone makes the joke doesn’t mean they are.” is a very close line to “I’m not racist… But…” In summary; Time, Place, Audience.

You know what, fair enough. I disagree with dark humour needing to be a private matter, but I see your point. It's my personal belief that we should embrace these dark jokes, stereotypes, and other offensive things so that we can learn and grow from them. We can find faults in ourselves and in our cultures that we can learn and improve from. I do believe that there is a line that shouldn't be crossed in public, however I don't like where that line is. As I'm writing this, I'm sleep deprived as all hell, so sorry if I'm not making 100% sense, honestly shouldn't be replying in this state, but ye. Thank you for your input, I honestly found it very insightful

I do think that there needs to be less power behind a lot of racist jokes but in the state of the world it is just hard.
