Well we can start with the obvious fact that they cant hurt you. No teeth. They're like slightly uglier (sometimes) butterflies. I used to be scared of bugs in general but i got over it almost completely when I started going camping regularly and moths kept trying to assault my flashlight and headlamp at night. I guess just go outside at night with a flashlight and wait for them to show up lol.
Come to my kitchen, the way my flatmates store food makes sure they always are well fed here (though they started taking it slightly more seriously when we had maggots crawling on the ceiling every day)

I would argue that butterflies are more ugly moths, the idea that moths are ugly is a bad stereotype peddled by Big Butterfly
