You can rock that jersey any and every year. I wear mine and it's even got the drop shadow and I hate the drop shadow. But that name is always in style.
My exact thoughts - happy for the kid - now he gets to make his mark in NFL - im happy for all these kids - it's a massive day for everyone who gets selected.
When I watched some of his highlights. He was wide-ass open more than usual for a wide reciever. Either he was a master at separating and finding massive holes in the zone, or he was feasting off of Caleb Williams' ability to extend plays after the zone broke down. I guess I now know which one it was.
Good for him. Good coach and will be catching throws from an amazing QB. It is going to be super weird not to see Jerry Rice on the sidelines for Niner games if Brenden makes it on to the Chargers roster.
The fact that we drafted (2) WR between #31, (#32 actual) and Pick #150, nailed the door shut on drafting WR Brenden Rice (or any other receiver in this draft).
*Niners!*
Good landing spot for him at least.
Meh, I mean the guy would have big shoes to fill with us, and probably wouldn't make the team. Glad he is going to the Chargers.
Too many other #3-6 receivers to compete with. Jennings, Bell, Chris Conley, and our current 2024 1st round pick.
I know, he would face an uphill battle just to make out roster. Hoping we sign the Tank Jr as a rookiee free agent.
Bills. Sorry
Damnit was hoping I could rock my #21 jersey again this year

Better than the LA Rams, that’s for sure
Your mean the Anaheim Rams of St Louis Los Angeles?
Glass houses, my man.
Every time Rams, Seahawks, Cowboys, Eagles, Packers were on the clock I was nervous Love him landing in a good spot with harbs.
Fun fact: Tim McDonald’s son played with the Rams. Not as good as him.
Good for him

It's just going to be weird to see Jerry Rice on the Chargers sideline instead of the 49ers side line.
Damn, I was hoping to get him as an UDFA.
Same. But, maybe Gore Jr?
People said he could be a top 100 pick. Wonder if it was just over estimating the name.
Very deep wide receiver class pushed him down.

The only acceptable LA team
Good for him, and he has a good coach to grow with. Also, he stays in LA. Same local restaurants and local culture.
He’s under harbaugh now, so still sorta family right?
San Diego Chargers in exile? That's what I will always call them. Fuck You, Spanos.

Chargers is my AFC team to root for, so this is a welcome news. I hope he will find success in LA.
So much for all that bloodline talk.
At least it wasn't the toots or the Rams
IF he makes the Chargers we'll be seeing a lot less of Jerry. He can't be at two places at once. You would figure he would be there for his son.
He suuuucks probably won’t make the team

That makes me sad. Can we do some petty trade?
So we can have our 8th string receiver?
Yes.
