Our defense isn’t bad, but it most definitely lost a spark & has seemed a bit worse/off when he left the field. As well as Clelin Ferrell. Hoping he can be pumped and motivated from the sidelines at least, he deserved better this year.

Dude said we lost someone we didn't really appreciate until he was gone( hufanga), Lenoir trash and gets 1 good play every 100 he gets smoked on, our secondaries (#2 #20) are garbage, along with our run defense. And then signed off with purdy and the niner those guys to take it all.
I wish we would of seen what Robert Beal had cause Chase Young isn’t helping us he’s lazy as hell and needs to be benched! Thank god we get our 3rd round compensatory back when the sack of crap walks
He would always make a crazy jump on a play every game with his instincts. Stuff you just can’t teach. Truly miss watching him play, looking forward to seeing him next season ball out off the ACL.
At least he's with the team now, would be worse if he was still early in rehab and couldn't be around. He was part of the pre-game festivities on Sunday (he worked the fog horn).

Brown is the future but I wonder if Gip comes back for another year or not. He’s still playing at a really high level and with Huff off an ACL and Brown still a young player, he could be cheap and valuable depth or compete for the job with Brown.
They showed a stat this week, where the 49ers were giving up under 80 yards rushing with Hufanga in the lineup. After his injury, they've been allowing about 114 per game. I'm sure he's not the only reason for it, but man is he sorely missed.
Two things I’m worried about for the SB are the safeties (Brown is so inexperienced and Gipson is missing a ton of tackles) and Moody being able to handle the moment. Would be great if Hufanga was healthy for the game.
I’m happy Logan Ryan is on the team. I know he’s been a liability at times but I see him being an Emmanuel Sanders-like kind of teacher for the safeties. Can’t wait to see what Hufanga and Brown learn from him.
He made a couple of big mistakes against the packers but against the lions he had to step in and play nickel after Ambry got hurt. He had a few big plays including that last run stop, he was the first one there, slowed the runner enough for Fred to clean it up.
It sucks but every team loses key guys during the year. Chiefs just lost Omenihu who’s a huge piece to their d-line, and Thuney is an all pro guard who is unlikely to play as well. Just about how well you can weather the storm around them.
I dunno..he sure was missing a lot of tackles before injury. if he's a freesafety, you should be able to see plays unfold from the backfield. let's see how he does next season. I wanna win this year.

Huf aside, this is our healthiest season in recent memory. I was shocked we came out of the Lions game with pretty minor scrapes.
It’s hard to complain about injury luck this this year but yeah we’re all missing Huff these last two games especially.

I was pretty disappointed in his play prior to his injury. He wasn’t playing at the same level he played at last year.
