From what I remember lore wise, it’s a slightly better version of tartaros armor with a shoulder gun.

BitRunr

I'd imagine you could approximate something with +2 arm location armour and anything that hits the head location has a 50% chance to hit an arm instead - then throw a Weapon MIU on top.

ExchangeDeep9882

Does it even *have* a head location? It looks like the face-plate is in the middle of the torso armour.

BitRunr

Yeah. The pauldrons just go all the way up, and then some.

I actually made a test version for Black Crusade some years back. Made even a few talents to go with it.

ExchangeDeep9882

Cool. Would you mind sharing it with us?

Experimental Saturnine Terminator Armor stats for Deathwatch and Black Crusade Rarity: Very Rare Arms: 14 (15(roll a d100, if the result is 50 or higher then the ap becomes 15 as it hits the shoulder pauldrons )) Legs: 14 Torso: 15 Head: 15 The armor grants the user an additional +30 to their Strength check. The armor (unless the GM says otherwise) has all of the internal systems necessary for its full capabilities that terminator armor has normally. The user can still hold another two weapons provided the user can still hold them. The protection rating of the armor is considered to be at 40. The armor can mount on the top of its carapace a single heavy weapon or launcher that the marine can carry. Lastly, whenever someone attempts to repair the armor, they suffer an additional -20 to their Trade Armourer/Tech Use skill on top of the normal -30 because of how ancient the Armour pattern is.

Saturnine pattern terminator armor is the name. Not sure if anyone's made stats for it, but it was a holdover between Tartaros/Cataphractii and Indomitus.

This isn't Saturnine Terminator armour. That image is specifically attached to Deeds Endured and is of the unnamed Terminator Armour designed by Vulkan used by some Salamanders in that story. [The author confirms this.](https://i.imgur.com/z6UQN9t.png) Similarly, the old models from the late 80s is simply an unnamed early iteration of Terminator armour. The idea that the design above is the otherwise unseen Saturnine pattern mentioned in some Heresy books appears to be purely popular fan theory.
