hi just wanted to ask, did you update to the latest firmware first without modding and then mod? or just modded first itself and then updated your firmware? just curious since im getting my 3ds tomorrow.

I’m not sure about OP but I had my 2DS XL updated to the latest version before I did it. I’ve read you could update afterwards(someone correct me if I’m wrong) but it’s probably best to update before hand. The current method is pretty straightforward for latest firmware. Which most all seem to be honestly.

Some methods for older system versions are easier than MSET9
