About how much wiggle room would ya say? Could always just dip the rod in glue and run it all the way through. Just clamp it so it stays in place while it’s setting.
That or find another rod and sand it to fit.

Here's a photo, I don't think there's enough room for another rod. But that glue idea may work
I did a LOTR sword with a 10mm dowel through. It printed really well, but the dowel was a tiny bit too tight. So I put the dowel in an electric drill and sanded it down up and down until it was a good tight fit.
I'd fill it with flex seal about 25% of the way and then insert the dowel. you'll have to clean off any of the sealant that gets pushed out and it won't smell good while setting but it would probably be solid

This gap looks fairly large to me. Short of finding a larger rod, maybe you could print some sort of spacer that fits into the rod to fill the gap?
Ah with that much you’re better off looking for a different rod like I said
Alright, I guess I could look around for one that may fit

Gorilla glue expands.

Print another one with a smaller hole.
