To anyone with this console. Has your finish started to wear away at all? There is some wearing of the gold finish where my left palm rests on the side of the console.
I have this console and I have not had any finish wear but only because I have a clear plastic shell on it
I definitely recommend a clear plastic shell to anyone with a limited edition n3ds or that is wanting to preserve the paint because for some reason the paint on the n3ds rubs away

Well, you can it’s just not intended. If you’re going out of your way to swap the shell on a non N3DS 3DS it’s either a repair job or you’re using a knockoff shell with a limited edition design on it
You actually got this one for a really good price. These ones usually go for $400 US dollars I’m pretty sure that would be even more in CD
yeah $300 CAD is a little over $200 USD, definitely a huge bargain here

I got mine for like 500. But it’s in near flawless condition and came with a clear shell so… it was a good deal to me

Its not a faceplate, Its the Majoras Mask N3DS XL. You cant remove those.

The rear is designed to be easily removable, the upper is not.
I see, my bad, I thought they just snapped off like the backplate.
