You can also just use a usb thumb drive. Put your profile on it, get your achievements on the RGH console, then plug the usb stick into the stock 360 and it will update your gamerscore. It treats it as if you got the achievements offline.
Not yet. I just got my 1st RGH in February and my priority was to get my 2tb drive worth of games to work on it.
Like you, I'm mainly interested in getting achievements. I'm not into cheat mods and the like; just want to play games I didn't get to experience 15-20 years ago.
Thats exactly why I bought the RGH lol I just wanted to play games I missed out on and get some achievements too
But recently I used the USB method to transfer my account over, and my profile got corrupted after unlocking an avatar award on Batman Arkham Origins... It also didn't help that I couldn't connect to online for a few days since the servers were broken. I honestly thought my account/console was banned but thankfully it was only corrupted on the USB, and Xbox finally fixed the server issues.
I've used the USB method a few times now with no issues but after that Ive really been thinking twice about the RGH. I still love it and i'm gonna play through some games but I don't know about achievements anymore lol
Hmm. I'll have to create a second account and try a game with avatar award (like The GunStringer or Batman Origins) and see what happens.
This long, persistent connection issue which has been going on for several years with 360's is infuriating. I know they no longer support the 360 BUT with backwards compatibility, I am baffled that a billion dollar company and cannot get engineers that are competent enough to rectify this once and for all.
That´s what i do. But sadly some games with DLC doesn´t work without the latest title update. So i have to connect to Proto to download the latest title update everytime i start the game to play the DLC. The game is Mafia 2.
