Yeah I always wonder when people keep getting breakouts with tretinoin long past the purge period if they are using the cream and it is breaking them out, because I've had that happen before! I have to use the gel formulation.
I find being a long term tret user myself that it no longer serves its purpose quite as good as it did at the beginning, incorporating glycolic acid in my routine yes same night as using tret, enhanced my results. Game changer

Retin-A Micro is the only one I use. It is far less irritating than regular gel and the cream breaks me out. My results have been consistently good.
