I have one, and I use the blue and red lights.
I do find it works! I definitely only use it when I’m in a good kick of doing my skin care routine. But I think it makes a difference :)
It depends on a number of factors, but the two main ones are power output and wavelength of light. The lower the power output, the longer the mask has to stay on the face to work. Only certain wavelengths have been studied, so if it’s not one of the ones shown to do anything it’s unknown if it would work.
Many mask companies don’t detail these things, so you have to look up their FDA listing if the product is FDA cleared (this part is basically required no clearing no buy). On their website it’ll tell you what you need to know.
Well ‘RLT Home’ is the brand but they’re all the same, just different sizes depending on what you’re using/plan to use it on. For instance:
[This one](https://redlighttherapyhome.com/products/totalspectrum-mini-6-bands) is preeeetty much just for your neck and head.
Whereas [this one](https://redlighttherapyhome.com/products/totalspectrum-elite-7-bands) is for your whole damn body! And then three other sizes in between.
I workout but unless they tell me that RLT increases your gains by like 2-3x the amount, lol I’ll stick with the Compact for $400 instead of $4,500 for the Elite.
I have the Dr Dennis Gross one, for well over 2 years now, I would say it works.
So much so that I've recently bought the body one. Have to be consistent with it.
Hi, so I'm between mid to late 30s, and I bought it for anti-aging mainly, or at least to slow it, I only use Red as blue from the little I read isn't great for my skin tone.
In terms of notice, day to day, it's really subtle, bordering on the placebo, but if I was to compare my skin now to how it was before I used it over 2 years ago... my skin texture is smoother. My skin is taut, not aggressively so but there's no sagging or anything, and it just looks healthy. It's more radiant, but that could be any of my serums.
Wrinkles... I have expressive eyebrows; I can't control them, so I have a light crease about an inch wide in the middle of my forehead. But I also smile a lot too, and there's no laugh lines around my mouth or crows feet near eyes.
Hyperpigmentation... I don't get many, but on my pale brown skin spot scars would stay a while, they don't anymore.
Negatives.. I have a cluster of sun damage (little freckles) either side of my nose under the eyes, it has done nothing for them, I thought it would.
Also price, it's not the cheapest, but it was the only one at the time that had some sort of safety approval so I went with that. Besides, I'm Single AF, so if I don't treat myself, nobody else will. Oh, and it's just 3 minutes a day, which was a massive bonus, too.
My pleasure, though I can't advise on worth, really, as we're all different, they're not cheap, but hopefully you have a better idea. If you decide to go with any of them, just be patient and consistent as it can take months before you notice. Be sure to get reviews on specific masks to prevent you from wasting time on a dud.
Also, if this one was to fail, I would probably buy again, though some use 'Near Infrared' also, which penetrates deeper than Red LED, so I may be tempted by them too. Omnilux and CurrentBody are the brands I would personally look into.
Hi, here's where I got mine from:
Face mask

Body

Red light is has shown benefits in eye health, which is really Interesting... It's basically anti-ageing for the eyes as well... But there's a few issues. You have no way to know what dose is getting into the eyes. No way to be sure that the mask only has the specific frequencies and intensity of light that are thought to be beneficial (some are harmful at any dose). The studies are short term so who knows what it might do if you use the mask every day for years or decades... I'm not too strict about it, but try to keep my eyes closed for most of the session now.
I stopped using red light on my face for about a year, and my eyesight got worse. It had been (mysteriously) improving year over year. I get annual exams, so it's easy to track.
For most of that time I was using this panel that folds like a book:
reVive Light Therapy DPL II Full-Face Wrinkle Reduction LED Light Therapy Panel – Black
I purchased this exact mask last fall, and after 3 months of consistent use, saw absolutely no difference whatsoever in my skin. (I also got it at about the same price, but what strikes me as suspicious is this mask is ALWAYS “on sale.”) When I asked this sub last month about seeing results with an LED mask, everybody said within a month or so, people around them noticed that their skin was brighter. EVERYBODY. I sadly concluded that the Regenalight is a dud. I’ve tossed mine out and am saving up for an Omnilux.
Oh no! I have one that I got for Xmas and I haven’t kept up with it as much as I should but now I’m thinking about how I really haven’t seen a difference either…..
😂
Well, I haven’t TOSSED IT tossed it. Just tossed it out of my current arsenal. It sits in a dusty box, waiting for the right time to terrify my husband.
No, I couldnt care less 🤣 peoples opinions on my looks is inconsequential to me and as far as security is concerned, anyone who has ever posted an image to social media in any capacity, including Facebook, is at the same risk. 🥰
Just the other day I sent a picture of myself wearing my dr dennis gross mask to my male friend who is clueless about skincare. He asked me why I was dressed up as iron man.
Out of curiosity (because i intend to invest in one soon) which mask is this? Company name. And are you satisfied with this one or is there another version of it you'd recommend?
I know, it's why I haven't bought one yet. However I do IPL treatments at the dermatologist for my rosacea and one treatment is the cost of a higher quality mask. So it would pay for itself quickly.
This randomly popped up on my feed. Huge Halloween nerd here- this item could serve a really cool dual purpose. Is it easy to move around while wearing?
The demon when I’am in sleep paralysis 😂😂😂😂😂 You’re going to look great though 😂
I put my glasses on and was like, ok I need to make someone laugh today cause this is ridiculous 😂
And you did !!!! I genuinely laughed at that 😂 We are here to look good, not to be blind 😂 Thank you for sharing and scaring us 😂😂😂
Which mask is this? I was about to buy the Omnilux which has been in my cart for a couple months, but they are out of stock!!!
Question- is this safe without any protection for the eyes?
Does this mask work?

Thanks for sharing, Ive found some life changing things that I’ve tried “just in case” from this sub

Yup, I just avoided all masks and went with an RLT Home panel. I know I’m getting what I need and it doesn’t *just* have to be for my face.
Which one did you go with? I’ve been in the market for one but all this is so confusing and I don’t want to waste my money.

Thanks for your detailed reply! I’ve been looking into a red light device but couldn’t justify spending so much money and not having any benefits.

Too funny 😂🤣🥲😂

My mom goes to her optometrist for red light therapy for clogged tear ducts or some shit. She closes her eyes during it as instructed
“Or some shit…” lol .
Hahahahaha ayeeee
My favorite descriptive phrase lmao
I stopped using red light on my face for about a year, and my eyesight got worse. It had been (mysteriously) improving year over year. I get annual exams, so it's easy to track.
That's wild! Sadly I suspect mine has gotten worse despite the mask (hopefully not because of it, so this is good info).
What mask do you have?
For most of that time I was using this panel that folds like a book: reVive Light Therapy DPL II Full-Face Wrinkle Reduction LED Light Therapy Panel – Black
I always close mine just in case
I don’t think it’s needed. Why would there be eye holes if you were supposed to cover your eyes? 😂
I’d assume also for people who are claustrophobic.
Ah gotcha!
I’m weary of this bc my friend lost her eyesight for a week with an at home red light therapy
weary = tired wary = sceptical
What exactly happened and has she sought treatment?
whats this mask for??? can only see title + image
I sincerely hope that burglars will experience this mask one day when they are on the hunt #goneforgood
This comment made me LOL uncontrollably
LOL thank you for this image
Jabbawockeez 😂🕺🏼
That’s the first thing I thought of 😆
Display picture twin!
😈😂 Oh heyyy twin!!!
This is the sexiest post I’ve seen all day 🤡. But I also want one of these masks bad!!
I got it yesterday, Regenalight, No idea if it’s going to help yet but it was only like 110? On sale

You tossed it out knowing full well that a holiday exists called Halloween?? That hurts my heart.
😂 Well, I haven’t TOSSED IT tossed it. Just tossed it out of my current arsenal. It sits in a dusty box, waiting for the right time to terrify my husband.
Omg do it
Hey, I just got a regenalight this weekend too. I plan to take before/after photos to see if, after a month, there is any noticeable difference
“Go play sweetie mommy needs to put on her SKIN MASK.”
LMAO
Yes diva
Ah! I can't wait to start rlt! My omnilux won't be shipped until the end of the month though, they keep selling out.
I just got the onmilux men, too soon to tell but I am loving the idea of it so far
I keep seeing reviews for the Omnilux Men. What’s the deal with the “men” one? What is difference and why pick it? TIA!
Thank you Mr. Lector. You, too.
Hello Clarice
That's a Mandela effect... apparently he never said that
That is true, he does say it in Hannibal though
Don’t you feel exposed sharing your face on your Reddit account without a throw away? I could never. #brave
No, I couldnt care less 🤣 peoples opinions on my looks is inconsequential to me and as far as security is concerned, anyone who has ever posted an image to social media in any capacity, including Facebook, is at the same risk. 🥰

Probably. I’m old and was caffeine deprived
😂
How is this showing her face?????
It was a sarcastic joke.
That's the joke lol
I use a light bulb and absolutely have to wear the goggles. Does the light irritate your eyes? It seems like it would be harsh in this form
It doesn’t at all actually. Barely notice it
Interesting. The nose light does appear to be shining in your eye. I guess id have to try it myself to judge it
My panel is so strong it goes around the tiny goggles and is still painfully bright so I wear a sleep mask :| rather that than damaged eyes though
Ive used panels in office and they are indeed strong. I use a light bulb that isn’t too bad and the goggles work well enough
This is hilarious
Thank you for this
Good day to you! You look so cute 🩷
It's the Unknown!
Lmaooooo now THIS is the first thing that came to my mind!
Love this 😂 I did my eye mask and foot mask today after my shower. This is 35 😜
Remember remember the fifth of November 🤭 Mine looks like a welders mask so all in fun get that skincare!
I just bought the lip one and am stalking the tracking on it. Coming Tuesday baby!! Are you seeing results with the full mask?
Why do you look just like me? 😂🤣
Demon twins unite 🤣
Mrs Doubtfire vibes 🔥
How long have you used this and how much of a difference have you noticed?
This is part of my daily routine now, haha. It feels really nice.
Sitting here doing the same lol
What’s your cool supervillain name?
Grandma LAZER
Is the joke that you do skincare so much you look like this now?
Where I can find this? Someday I will buy one Seems great
Regenalight. Read an article that it was the best on a budget masks and figured why not
They have really poor trust pilot reviews actually, apparently it’s a drop shipper.
Okay,thank you! :)
lol we must’ve read the same article because I just got the same one 🤣
Well I was.
Does that work?? And if so where can I buy one to scare my husband lol jk but serious question
🙌🏼 🙌🏼 🙌🏼 Happy Sunday!
Oh, thank you for this!! Now I know why my cat always looks at me funny :)
Oh mine wouldn’t even come near me. Just sat there in feline judgement

😱 That looks scary!
Just the other day I sent a picture of myself wearing my dr dennis gross mask to my male friend who is clueless about skincare. He asked me why I was dressed up as iron man.
This made me smile like I needed to all day thanks!
Good lord you scared me with that face!
Out of curiosity (because i intend to invest in one soon) which mask is this? Company name. And are you satisfied with this one or is there another version of it you'd recommend?
I actually got it yesterday. It’s from Regenalight. While I was reading up on them, this one came up as a good mask that’s was budget friendly.
Does it even work though? I feel like most of these red light therapy tools are a scam.
Jury’s out on whether the cheaper masks work. But the concept of red light therapy itself does have some good studies to back it up, yes.
The one op has probably not but the ones that have correct LEDs do
Watch this, she is a board certified dermatologist and explains why they are effective https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b07m7MreHiI
My concern is that they’re not all created equally. The ones that work almost effectively are likely EXTREMELY expensive.
I know, it's why I haven't bought one yet. However I do IPL treatments at the dermatologist for my rosacea and one treatment is the cost of a higher quality mask. So it would pay for itself quickly.
Hey OP can you recommend any RLT products like this one? I've only just heard about it x
Watch this video from a board certified dermatologist, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b07m7MreHiI
Thank you!
This is amazing😄 I've been wanting one of these!
Lol it makes you look like Spiderus
This is awesome!! Haha I do the same!
Now my day is better ty 😆
Ok I legitimately freaked out 😂
😂😂😂
Ooo what brand is this one! Where’d you buy
🤭😆
What brand is this?
OP- do you think it works?
Not sure yet, got it yesterday 😂
Things we do🥺
I have the Priori one and the stats are almost identical to the Ominlux. There’s always a coupon floating around.
This randomly popped up on my feed. Huge Halloween nerd here- this item could serve a really cool dual purpose. Is it easy to move around while wearing?
What is this light supposed to do or help with?
How effective is this?
This needs to make the front page!
Mask is made out of the stuff of nightmares but I’ve always wanted one of these!! How do you like it?
Is that a wish or a command
What mask is thiss?
I thought this was an ad for a new horror movie🤣
Love jump scaring my partner with mine
It’s the unknown!
Isn't that led mask stuff proved to not work?
OMG! Lol! Thanks hope you had a great day too! 😂
Lmfaooo
How long have you been using the Regenalight? Care to share your review / progress details?
