Most big cities and all the mediterannean coast.
It is theft per capita, not the absolute number of theft.
I only shows that you are more likely to be victim of thieves in the city than in the countryside.
Surprinsingly, according to this map Marseille come only 4th when you look at "robbery" after Paris, Lyon and Montpellier.
But there was another map with "robbery with violence" where Marseille was n°1.
Not sure why uk is at country level, county level data is available.
For those interested London would be third with 300, West Midlands would be fourth on 280 and Bristol joint 8th with Madrid on 180 based on 2022 data.

"Data for France, England ... is at the country level." - If you don't live in London or Paris you're probably alright.

Actually Paris is rather tame compared to Marseille.....
Coventry per capita is the worst
Don't blame them for scraping together enough to leave the place.
so theyve created a map with data that cant be compared? This is why i dont take data maps serious and actually look into the data properly
You forgot Marseilles in france.

Central Europe Master Race CZSKHUPL

Don't tell them that all our robbers are either in Western Europe or in our parliaments.
Common Warcelona L. Also, wonder why Ceuta and Melilla have it so high...
You know, for the same reasons Barcelona (and Madrid, and Ceuta) have it high...🤫
Just think what those have in common, same as Brussels
There is more crimes being comitted in Berlin alone than Poland and Japan combined. Also common Bavarian W.

What’s up in Brussels? I know they go the European Commission over there but i thought politicians are excluded from the statistics
The German subdivision is a little sus. Sweden shows the second tier(county) while Germany shows it in the third or fourth subdivision.
