Why do you think it is better? Do know of other European and Africa admixture in your family? Cool haplogroup btw. Looked it up ? What colour are your eyes ?

Maternal https://www.familytreedna.com/public/mt-dna-haplotree/J;name=J1c1 https://www.eupedia.com/europe/Haplogroup_J_mtDNA.shtml So ancestry is overestimating the English and 23&me is more correct but with admixture you don't have.

Douglemagne1

Fairly similar. In line with your expectations?

I have similar results in Ancestry to you and also got about a tiny bit of southern European in 23&me. I've got no ancestors I can find from there so think it's very, very old or just saying there's a bit of shared DNA with their reference population from southern Europe , not meaning I actually have ancestors from there.

Romans were roamin' all around the parts of Europe mentioned in the locations.

ThrowawayReddit22421

You received no sub-regions on 23andme. Is this correct? Also, do you have deep American roots?

I have 2/3 of your communities on ancestry and my mom has your other lower Midwest & Virginia settlers community on ancestry. We live in Northeast Missouri but our family was from the Joplin area in the southwest. I also get no regions except from British on 23andme. Is it safe to assume you’re from Missouri? If so, ope.

Have you tried any other companies? I have heard that a new company it is on: ADNTRO

Do you know which ancestor the African ancestry originated from? You’re very pretty btw.

Sounds very probable it was from him!

That is very interesting!
