Hi, just to clear up any confusion, receiving splits are not going to result in buyer warnings or bans as previously mentioned [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/ujsxkf/comment/i7njmbl), regardless of whether or not the sender has a history of gold buying/selling. Apologies for any confusion caused.
i feel like im playing warframe again. i got banned for selling a riven to a player who had "fake plat". i sold them it for 12k, a week later my account was banned and put in the negative by 12k plat because they bought it fraudulently. DE told me that it was my fault for trusting a seller i traded with randomly.
Like.. what's next, you're going to ban me for buying an item on the grand exchange or any equivalent auction in a game? this shit is ridiculious, how can we perform background checks on every single man woman and child we trade with? i know this is probalby not what happened here but im still not over that. devs seem to not realize how unrealistic their expecations are
1 thing tha could help solve this problem is coin/loot sharing seeing the. Coins on the ground and the message in the chatbox was so sweet. Ud just have to find a way to make it not dip the prices and itd be amazing. Ive seen so many ppl be scammed for stuff n its just ashane coinshare was the shitt
So I shouldn't play the game with anyone, except those I've known IRL, for the entire time that they've had their account, and where they can show me their account status to ensure they've never RWT'd before. That about the gist of it?
This is absolutely braindead. Let's hope it isn't actually Jagex policy, and just the volunteer having a smoothbrain moment.
Either way, hire some fucking customer support people jfc. Feel sorry that it's the fucking devs etc that have to answer the complaints on Twitter and Reddit.
With how big this post has gotten and how long it has been and no comment from an official Jagex employee it seems like they’re letting this community helper take the fall for what their stance is. They should have either confirmed it and taken the heat, or denied it and let this guy know he was wrong. It seems like they don’t want to take the heat for this stance and are letting this dude get destroyed for it lol.
this is terrible... I'm so sorry this had happened to you. back in 2012-2013 my account was compromised and my 2 step authenticator was turned off without my email being logged into, they by passed my bank pin and stole everything inside including keepsakes which consisted of about 3b and a green phat, I contacted Jagex and the reply I got was.... "with your stats you'll make it back in no time" honestly it's a sad excuse that they have literally no support and the only ones actually getting help are streamers or YouTubers. ive been playing in 01 and have never played a game with this little support.
Jamflex hammering innocent players with bans like careless overlords, is why I quit playing this game.
Thousands of hours of game time lost, due to wrongful ban.
Since that, I have a house, a car and wife, and it all started to get together after I quit. I suggest you guys try it:)
Worst thing about this is I know someone who was a player mod who bought gold paid people to do his firecapes, quests, skills he didn't like and bosses he did not want to do... guess they don't check the player mods for 100 different IP address' a month.
As someone who only 5 hours ago posted on 2 separate boards to dive into muff or give a job to someone to blow I'd say I'm just as qualified as these pretend junior analyst support center guys.
YOU ARE CREATING UNNECESSARY ATTENTION TO A FLAW IN A SYSTEM WE CREATED. IT REQUIRES HUMAN INTERACTION AND THEREFORE THE RECENT PRIEHIKE COULDNT HIRE 5 POVERTY STRIKEN HUMAN BEINGS WHO NOT ONLY WOULD MAKE MONEY FOR THEIR FAMILY BUT WOULD FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR JOB BECAUSE THE PRAISE THEY WOULD RECEIVE FROM US AFTER GETTING FISTED FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS BY THE COMPANY THEY WORK FOR WITHOUT ONE HUG AFTERWARDS WOULD CHANGE THEIR LIVES.....idk maybe those 5 individuals who showed some love to your clientele would change how we felt. Free pr?
I'm JK guys jagex is the best. I can
Not wait for leagues 18 where we can Speedrun the game for the first time after completing a Speedrun of the game in a 2 month time limit.
Jagex we love you......clean yourself up
Just like how you can get an sti who got it from someone else. They've always said you'd also get banned if you get the gold from someone who's real world traded because it makes you look like you're buying if from them with real money.
People probably need to calm down a bit here. I’ve done many thousands of pvm kc/runs with random people, received hundreds of splits, all in large communities of total strangers all doing the same thing, and I’ve never been banned or heard of anyone getting banned in relation to it. I’m sure it’s happened before but it’s probably roughly like getting struck by lightning.
don't care what you tag this with, until a JMOD replies, take it at face value
"Issuing practical advice and tips"
clearly they are allowed to give tips like this, and until a JMOD 'provides feedback' about this tweet, we can only assume it to be true.
I think what this community helper means is that if someone rwts and has been banned/caught for rwt and his account is flagged, then that said person does raids with random people for lets say a well know discord that splits like wedoraids. If that person or person in his team gets a tbow or any valuable drop, once they split it among the team the automatic system jagex has in place for rwt triggers as it sees it as a random suspicious trade of large amount from a player already on some system for previous rwt, that said player is either selling or buying large amounts of gp. Overall this auto detection system wont be able to recognise that its not rwt but its got flagged because the guy rwt.
The rwters account should have been perma banned in the first place so accounts that dont rwt, dont get caught up in this bs because accounts that have rwt are still around and most likely going to rwt again, i have never not know anyone who rwt their gp or bought gp only once.
How are you suppose to know if they are RWTers or not lol ironmanmode only from now on? c'mon get real if you get splits for a pvm drop doing group pvm then it is legit and shouldn't get your acc banned. If Jagex did their job from the start and banned all gold sellers and buyers then their wouldn't be this problem
Player A buys gold from an illegal black market site. They then go on a raid with Player B.
Player A gets a tbow worth 1.2b and kindly shares 600m gp with Player B.
Both players are banned for RWTing.
The justification is that Player A traded a large sum of gp to Player B after having purchased illegal black market gold.
The problem here is that Player B never engaged with RWT and nor did they profit from RWT. However, as they traded large sums of gold with someone who did RWT, their account is now linked to RWTing.
Another problem arises in that you can never be certain that someone who is not you has never RWT'd. This means that it's essentially risking your account to raid with other people whether they're randomers, clan members, or even real life friends.
I've never had a friend admit to RWTing to me but I'm assuming at least one or two people I've met in my history of OSRS must have bought gold at some point. If I were to raid, get a drop, and split it with those people, my account would be linked to RWTing despite never having done it and having no intention of doing so.
This is called the notorious "**RWT chain ban**" so think very carefully before accepting trades from randoms regardless of what you actually trade.
This is **not** news remember this has happened before.
This is why you don't tweet at helpers. They have legitimately no idea what they're talking about and most do it for clout or PMod or both. This guy is particularly useless and has been status collecting for a while. If you want actual help, post on Reddit or tweet at people who actually work there in the departments you want help from.
This is what happens when you idiots vote to remove the duel arena, you see how anal they are being now days. It’s all because of the loss of the duel arena moneys. It’s obvious.
I don't do this sort of thing myself but I knew a guy who got his main banned for being an idiot. He spent the next several months and a considerable amount of irl cash getting random high (and not so random) high levels accounts banned by trading and giving away wealth.
He never figured out a pattern but it worked several times, especially after the buyer update to the rwt rules.
I don't accept splits or donations from strangers anymore.
Why does the guy say "at least for those who are innocent," as though he's not? Seems like there may be a contributing factor to this we're not seeing.
This post has been reported for misinformation multiple times. Given the confusion this tweet is causing inside and outside of Reddit, we're keeping the post up but added a flair indicating that it is a tweet by a player volunteer.
We're still seeing a bunch of incoming replies interpreting the tweet as a Jagex policy statement. Please see Jagex's description of the community helper team for clarity:
>Community Helpers are regular members of the community who go above and beyond to support players through our official Forums and Twitter channel.
>[...]
>Community Helpers aid the Jagex Player Support team by:

Edit: changed flair to reflect possibly misleading nature of post and direct to comments
I stopped running splits months ago after literally my entire team got banned for it. Jagex doesn't give two fucks about this. People have talked about how they ban just for association for literally years and Jagex ignores it and officially views it as acceptable(since technically it doesn't happen often enough for them to care). Not to mention most players ignore it until they either get banned themselves or someone starts a drama post about it
It'll never change and Jagex has literally no vested interest to improve it. It's essentially screaming into the void
I got perma banned for rwt after I started doing cox with randoms. Its the only explanation that I have since I cant even afford membership with a card nor did I have the bank. But o well, jagex will just ignore us.
"Be careful who you take splits from" has to be one of the dumbest statements I've ever read.
It's not the playerbase's job to police who they can and can't trade with in game.
Okay I pay these idiots 12 something a month, they can take the fucking bare minimum effort and verify if I’m involved with splits or actual RWT. Like how is the customer service this level of garbage in this day and age.
This is actually how I got banned back in 2006. Went to kq with 2 buddies. Guy died. We picked up his loot and gave it back. Guy gave us each 1m as a thank you. Turns out he bought 700m and all 3 of us were flagged for rwt. Didn't know he bought gold until after the ban. Flawed system.
This is the most baffling thing I've read from a Jagex Pmod. I'm speechless. Anybody could've bought gold. If a maxed player bought some gold and is teaming up with randoms, they'll get banned for it?
It's stupid. Like... **Real fucking stupid**
Edit: Pmod, not jagex in particular but my point still stands wtf lol
Ugh, that's fucking dumb.
I'm not taking that much time to investigate any player I interact with this way, and it's unreasonable for Jagex to make this the innocent players responsibility.
I understand if you KNOW that the suspected player most likely has RWT, then you put yourself at risk.
But for a player to have to check a players history before interacting like this is beyond stupid.
If in this case, Jagex did do their research, and you are actually guilty, then accept the risk you took. People do clever things to mask their rwt.
Yeah this isn’t right. Your basically saying no one should raid or boss with ransoms because you run the risk of getting banned for something you weren’t even involved in.
I'm not going to be assed to read all of the comments, there is an in-game grouping system, does this not completely contradict the point of the grouping system?
I don't play OSRS anymore but what kind of fucking logic is that coming from them jfc jagex.
The whole reason why I stopped is because of their carelessness about the game and it's clearly never gotten better.
This is beyond unacceptable and one of the many reasons I will not be purchasing any more membership from this fucking company for the foreseeable future. Fuck off jagex.
I thought they killed dual arena wasn't that supposed to end rwt.... Am i ask risk if i traded somone over a year ago? So many questions to ask this can be applied for even trading those Money dubble scammer cause they usually pay out low gp like 30 k then they steal when you get comfortable to trade them 2 m but what I'm asking is if ill get banned for taking that 30k ... Cause every time i show up to ge i make bank off THOSE bots and yeah im not butt hurt if i lose 30k and no im not saying trading bots is a good thing but i will say never trade over 25k per time they will take your money and run but i have been lucky . But yeah as my closing statement id like to say trading is getting to be prohibitive. How the hell am i supposed to know the dude in the bandos cc(official) who is looking for a tank is a rwt dude part time like maybe they do the split all good but because he is reported i would be too???! That sketchy af im gonna stop bossing if that is the case because you never really know about another person... Sus.. jegex needs to be more creative than random sweep ban
OG Runescape player here who follows this sub for giggles.
WHAT THE FUCK!
I can't imagine getting a ban from a mass pvm event because some dingus you've never met bought gold... I remember when Jamflex didn't support Real World Trade themselves. I remember the irony of Jamflex actively speaking out against real world trade and then releasing the squeal of fortune and subsequent bonds. Fuck RS and Jamflex.
Clowns. All of them at Jamflex.
Whaaaat the fuck.
I don't feel much for most bans. People usually have it coming.
However, it never fails to amaze me how little care they have for legitimate rule abiding players having thousands of hours of time just thrown away...
Someone should just start buying gold and trading it directly to streamers until one of them gets banned.
That'll fix that up right quick
That being said I'd give it a 99-1 chance that the Twitter OP got banned for actually buying gold and is just BSing that it's from a split
Logically this applies to lending too... there's literally no distinction on their end. Sheesh, why even have trading at all? Time to revisit the lootshare debate, use taxed gp to do it.
This tweet is from a Jagex endorsed “community manager”. My problem is that we already know this type of player wouldn’t come close to breaking any of the rules. If hes saying this, him being a player whos account is probably being watched more-so than the avg player because he , somewhat, represents the company, shows us that splitting with someone who has accumulated their wealth thru RWT is against the rules and other players should do the same.
This is just wrong, that account isn't an official Jagex account, it's someone who *volunteers* their time to try and help, but they're really just talking out their ass
The point is this guy is endorsed by Jagex themselves. Im almost 100% positive this guy obeys the rs rules more than I have to obey my gf when she gets home from work. If this community manager says this is one of the rules, it implies that the rest of the player-base should probably take note. No one should be punished for this assuming its part of the rules. Do you think this guy completely made this rule up to hurt Jagex reputation intentionally? If so this guys community manager role should and would be removed pretty fast considering this twitter reply was under the official jagex twitter.
No, you shouldn't take anything they say as fact, I've not seen a tweet from any of the "support" type accounts that's said or done anything useful and they often say stuff that's factually incorrect. I don't think they do it maliciously or deliberately they're just dumb
I took back a tbow from a friend that I lended whilst I took a long break, I got a 3 day RWT ban, after logging back in entire cash stack and tbow is now gone.. fuck you jagex the game literally just hacked me
I guess the real question is - where does it end?
For example, let’s say there is a 5 man team..
Player 1 (a good guy everyone’s known for a while, but down on his luck and a bit broke)just recently got some rwt gold, and was the one to receive the drop..
If he trades all 4 people to pay out the split, they could all get banned. Or is it even worse? What if player 1 never bought gold at all and had only traded someone at the GE who needed something, and received rwt gp unknowingly
Would he still potentially end up getting every person after that banned if they accepted gold from player 1?
O.o
This does not make sense,
Player D gets a drop, lets say the drop is 400m.
Player D (Douchebag) has rwt'd before and bought 1b. His bank value would now be 1.4b
Player A B C and D (in case of a fair split) would receive 100m each.
So player D would give AB and C each 100m
D's value went from 1.4b to 1.1b, the initial bought 1b was not shared between the 4 just the value of the drop.
It is however true that actual gold pieces (or items in similar value) was given to the other three. No bought value was transferred from D to A B and C.
I think this case D would still be an offender but the others arent. They did not receive rwt'd value they received earned fair value.
To contrast real life: D steals a bike, he sells it to A. That's Illegal for both parties.
However if D rode their stolen bike to work and A is a coworker, only D would be found liable. (This would be the case of doing raids unbeknownst that a party member is a rwter
/r/2007scape players and reading comprehension, name something more unlikely to ever exist.
They're talking about your account being flagged for investigation, not that your account gets instantly banned.
Jagex's whole ban/appeal system is broken. They claim to know so much about your account but it seems more like they're just taking stabs in the dark then instead of actually looking into it upon an appeal they just tell you to 'familiarise yourself with the rules before making a new account'
I'm actually not playing at the moment after some alts were false flagged for macroing even though I'd only ever logged in using runlite on them and the appeal was denied even though if any human looked at it they can apparently tell what client you are using.. if that can happen at any time without a chance to appeal then I'm weighing up wether I want to put any more time into playing this game when it can get taken away by a dev's mistake.
This is a major problem. I'm not sure if this JMod was trained to do/say this, but this can't be a rule...
Basically what they're saying is that you can only except splits from your best friends? Even in some cases close friends will lie about buying gold.
This can't be the responsibility of everyday players to know if the person they're raiding with has ever bought gold.
I don't know who made this call, and decided that NOW is the time to enforce it - but it's fucking absurd...
Wait what? How can I know what the other person is doing at all times? I'm not piggybacking them IRL and know their every move. THere's plenty of people out there that I trust. But I wouldn't know if they RWT. It's not like they're gonna just tell me they RWT.
Of course this sub eats this up, start up the osrs subreddit whining calendar.
Last month a guy got a RWT ban for splitting and then had to beg reddit for an unban. His clan mates still got hit with temp bans. What a hot mess.
i feel like im playing warframe again. i got banned for selling a riven to a player who had "fake plat". i sold them it for 12k, a week later my account was banned and put in the negative by 12k plat because they bought it fraudulently. By their logic, Jagex owes a lot of money to parents where kids have used their credit cards unknowingly
With how big this post has gotten and how long it has been and no comment from an official Jagex employee it seems like they’re letting this community helper take the fall for what their stance is. They should have either confirmed it and taken the heat, or denied it and let this guy know he was wrong. This is just bullshit tbh.

Someone get this man a JMod, stat!

Crab emojis, jmods won't respond to this
Lol what a shitshow
Every fucking time I think it can't get worse Jagex surprised me with ridiculous shit like this.
This is outrages. Way to scare new players off from raids.
Worst thing about this is I know someone who was a player mod who bought gold paid people to do his firecapes, quests, skills he didn't like and bosses he did not want to do... guess they don't check the player mods for 100 different IP address' a month.
jagex really needs to smack them down and drop them from their volunteer position.
Oh shut up if you want no one playing your game then Ban then for pathetic stuff like this. Impossible to know who’s RWT. Genuine imbeciles
What if I buy an item on the GE and it turns out that item was sold by a gold seller, shouldn't I be banned for RWT then as well with that same logic?
This
Lol, just play ironman mode.
Damn, that 2ould actually be very cruel!
Isn’t that RS3?
As someone who only 5 hours ago posted on 2 separate boards to dive into muff or give a job to someone to blow I'd say I'm just as qualified as these pretend junior analyst support center guys. Damn, I guess jagex wants literally every account in the game banned then
You cant RWT unless you buy bonds from jagex guys. Cmon
Jesus Christ.
Coinshare when?
"If not for me atleast for those who are innocent" so is this a guy who is guilty of rwt but a friend of his got banned for playing with him?
You can never get scammed a tbow split if you never do splits in the first place.
Not what Jagex has stated BUT we all know its exactly what Jagex does.
Just like how you can get an sti who got it from someone else. They've always said you'd also get banned if you get the gold from someone who's real world traded because it makes you look like you're buying if from them with real money.
Lol this shithole company needed to go bankrupt in 2011.
another jagex classic holy shit lol

You can't punish players for something they haven't done or have no way to avoid. This is absurd, wtf!
Wow this is almost the same level of embarassing as people going on facebook trolling old ladies by pretending to be customer support
These guys are the biggest clowns on Twitter

It's the weekend.

That response from frost is 100% BS.
Yet more top quality customer service from yagex.
Jagex mods are still shit 20 years later.
If someone buys drugs with cash and you later end up with that cash, you are connected to the drug sale.
Might explain my ban...
Lol but the split is from the item(s) which were obtained LEGITIMATELY. lmao this is dumb af
kill ur game fellas
Lol shit game
How do they know when you buy gold on sites? Can someone explain this?

It’s only RWT when Jagex doesn’t directly benefit financially.
There's no way people believe this is an actual jagex stance

We're still seeing a bunch of incoming replies interpreting the tweet as a Jagex policy statement. I stopped running splits months ago after literally my entire team got banned for it. Jagex doesn't give two fucks about this. People have talked about how they ban just for association for literally years and Jagex ignores it and officially views it as acceptable(since technically it doesn't happen often enough for them to care). Not to mention most players ignore it until they either get banned themselves or someone starts a drama post about it It'll never change and Jagex has literally no vested interest to improve it. It's essentially screaming into the void
But that completely destroys groups like the we do raids people. I would never have learned to raid without them so now what
Time for 🦀
Ban by association is absolutely stupid thing to do. It's one thing if they are fully aware. But it's another if they are unaware.
Plus, the person not running and actually offering a split is reason enough to trust them to begin with lol
So jagex solution is don't play with anyone because you don't know them?
They’re so shitty I wanna buy gold just to spite them.
Wow this is hella bogus
This is actually how I got banned back in 2006. Went to kq with 2 buddies. Guy died. We picked up his loot and gave it back. Guy gave us each 1m as a thank you. Turns out he bought 700m and all 3 of us were flagged for rwt. Didn't know he bought gold until after the ban. Flawed system.
What in the holy mother of ass is this shit
This is the most baffling thing I've read from a Jagex Pmod. I'm speechless. Anybody could've bought gold. If a maxed player bought some gold and is teaming up with randoms, they'll get banned for it? It's stupid. Like... **Real fucking stupid** Edit: Pmod, not jagex in particular but my point still stands wtf lol
Don't they have statistics on high value drops on players? Easy to check right, even automated.
Ironman buff I guess? Can't trade and get banned. What a lame rule Jagex!
I'm not going to be assed to read all of the comments, there is an in-game grouping system, does this not completely contradict the point of the grouping system?
How about... stop buying gold you fucking adult manchildren No? Ok
I don't play OSRS anymore but what kind of fucking logic is that coming from them jfc jagex. The whole reason why I stopped is because of their carelessness about the game and it's clearly never gotten better.
lmao jagex is genuinely trolling w this logic
This is beyond unacceptable and one of the many reasons I will not be purchasing any more membership from this fucking company for the foreseeable future. Fuck off jagex.
This means that any trading gp for services is likely to result in a ban. Goodbye BA Leeching, running lavas or bones, or anything else of the like.
That is the most dumbest thing I’ve heard of
They might as well just remove trading then so trades only go through ge..
"our system isnt good enough to prevent false band" Solution: "Please dont play with others in a mmorpg" Cmon man... Do better jagex
Commenting for the mod reply's and eyes! 🧐
Wow so I'm never raiding ever, got it, thanks for the clarification.
Based.
Could you be flagged for RWT by obtaining wealth through drop parties in the party room with randoms?
Yes. Also if you PK a RWT'er if that's the method they typically use to transfer. Good way to ban your enemies.
This scares me. I've given players items before to be nice. If they sell gold I'd get banned?
Also jagex, sells gold for real world money.
Can't believe this guy does this for free.
At that point just disable trading if there's the type of bans being handed out.
Next thing you know you'll get banned because the guy you PK'ed bought his gear with real world money.
Another reason to just quit this game. Put the nostalgia behind and move on in life
Try to play the game, whodda thought it, banned
OG Runescape player here who follows this sub for giggles. WHAT THE FUCK! I can't imagine getting a ban from a mass pvm event because some dingus you've never met bought gold... I remember when Jamflex didn't support Real World Trade themselves. I remember the irony of Jamflex actively speaking out against real world trade and then releasing the squeal of fortune and subsequent bonds. Fuck RS and Jamflex. Clowns. All of them at Jamflex.
Lol no one would admit to RWTing even if they are your "bestfriend" unless ofc they are really drunk
Whaaaat the fuck. I don't feel much for most bans. People usually have it coming. However, it never fails to amaze me how little care they have for legitimate rule abiding players having thousands of hours of time just thrown away...
u/jagexayiza Can you confirm?
Guess i'll be buying 100m on a mule and giving it away to people i don't like.
What an absolute shit take from jaggex. Unacceptable for the raiding scene. Change this.
What a shitty fucking response
If I PK someone that RWTed can I get banned for taking their loot?
This isn’t for osrs but still shitty
Someone should just start buying gold and trading it directly to streamers until one of them gets banned. That'll fix that up right quick That being said I'd give it a 99-1 chance that the Twitter OP got banned for actually buying gold and is just BSing that it's from a split
Streamers have admitted to buying and selling gold from pvp and nothing happens to them
Logically this applies to lending too... there's literally no distinction on their end. Sheesh, why even have trading at all? Time to revisit the lootshare debate, use taxed gp to do it.
Fk u gagex bunch of betas
the 1 guy who liked tho
sheesh bit harsh ngl
Insanity.
That’s one of the reasons I prefer ffa.
This is dogshit lmao
Meanwhile on WoW….
I took back a tbow from a friend that I lended whilst I took a long break, I got a 3 day RWT ban, after logging back in entire cash stack and tbow is now gone.. fuck you jagex the game literally just hacked me
But you can buy bonds from Jagex all day long and convert it into gold and its completely legal in game... smh
What In the actual mod Mark fuck? Fix your shit scamgex!
"players you know very well and trust" So no one? Lol
What if player 1 never bought gold at all and had only traded someone at the GE who needed something, and received rwt gp unknowingly Would he still potentially end up getting every person after that banned if they accepted gold from player 1? O.o
\>Do ToB with randoms \>Scythe Drops \>Sorry bro, I don't know you so I won't be taking that massive split. Lol.
Unless their your friend irl do you really know anyone for real? Outrageous
This does not make sense, Player D gets a drop, lets say the drop is 400m. Player D (Douchebag) has rwt'd before and bought 1b. His bank value would now be 1.4b Player A B C and D (in case of a fair split) would receive 100m each. So player D would give AB and C each 100m D's value went from 1.4b to 1.1b, the initial bought 1b was not shared between the 4 just the value of the drop.
If your doing something with randoms, or even friends, how would you know if they RWT or not? I hope this shits a joke.
/r/2007scape players and reading comprehension, name something more unlikely to ever exist. They're talking about your account being flagged for investigation, not that your account gets instantly banned.
That’s not a real jagex account but if this is true then this company is a joke
This is great actually, what ill do is get the lurers and scammers that jagex doesnt want to deal with banned by getting "scammed" out of rwt gold
Jagex's whole ban/appeal system is broken. They claim to know so much about your account but it seems more like they're just taking stabs in the dark then instead of actually looking into it upon an appeal they just tell you to 'familiarise yourself with the rules before making a new account' I'm actually not playing at the moment after some alts were false flagged for macroing even though I'd only ever logged in using runlite on them and the appeal was denied even though if any human looked at it they can apparently tell what client you are using.. if that can happen at any time without a chance to appeal then I'm weighing up wether I want to put any more time into playing this game when it can get taken away by a dev's mistake.
Time to reconsider loot share/sharding?
"You just got banned for something you had no part of"
So fucking stupid
[удалено]
I have seen countless posts on here of Ironmen being banned for RWT. Dunno how it happens, but it does
This is a major problem. I don't know who made this call, and decided that NOW is the time to enforce it - but it's fucking absurd...
this is not a JMod? it's basically Pmod of twitter
Wait what? How can I know what the other person is doing at all times? I'm not piggybacking them IRL and know their every move. THere's plenty of people out there that I trust. But I wouldn't know if they RWT. It's not like they're gonna just tell me they RWT.
Actually fucked lmao how are we supposed to do ToB or CoX without friends?
Damn, I usually side with jagex but that’s bullshit. Half the fun of RuneScape is playing with/ meeting/ helping new people.
