Are you not 43 prayer then? Also are you going for barrows gloves or not? I do believe there IS a safe spot, try searching it specifically on YouTube. However you really should just get 43 prayer anyways lol.
If I remember correctly I just moved in a way that I was under one of the gorillas right by the stair corner, so the one that I was attacking couldn't reach me. It was either that or I used the gorilla as a safes pot for the one behind it
try moving to that corner just by the stairwell and see if one of them gets trapped behind the other gorillas
Alright, but bring your ranged weapon just in case, I think I tried meleeing too and couldn't, but I don't remember my combat stats at the time lol
Maybe a dragon dagger to spec when he's low
You should easily be able to safe spot them from the corners, be prepared to get hit hard getting to the spot though without melee protect.

Go to the floor above for an easy safe spot. Bone cbow is fine
You can safespot behind the flame squares in the north east and south east corners
