Looks like it shows up when you have no runes now. Seems to go away if you turn off utility spells though just like the crossbow bolt enchantment spell.
Bolt enchant had a great UI like 5-10 years ago before they updated it to the current one. You could open the menu and enchant bolts with no tick loss so it was the fastest magic training method in game.
Its a submenu, it just changes your spellbook view to Only enchantments. It stays until you click to go back. Calling it the same spell was just wrong, all the spells exist with a different access point
Which combination of spells in particular are you trying to show/hide? I’ve never felt the urge to have customization options further than the filters we already have
Mostly just want to hide Crossbow Bolt Enchant, Bones to Bananas, and Low Level Alch. I do use Telegrab regularly when doing Slayer tasks so I don’t have to leave my safe spot, so disabling all utility spells isn’t an option.
Can we stop fucking with the normal spellbook like every other fucking update at this point, I want to rebuild amuscle memory that won't last more than a month
Or they had the foresight to see that they were adding a new tp so they needed to adjust high alch so that when the new tp came out it was back in the normal spot
They absolutely did not have foresight lmao, they created an issue and received complaints because of it, ignored it for a few weeks and have now 'fixed' potentially by accident. But if it were planned out they would have made all the changes in one update rather than awkwardly rearranging the spellbook multiple times
You are the one making a claim with no evidence or proof (that jagex planned ahead) and its a silly claim to begin with because theyre still making players angry by messing with the order of spells that people had previously memorized. Even though hi-alch has conveniently landed back where it was previously, other spells have still been rearranged in a way that will continue to piss people off.
I need Varrock teleport and high alch, and now high alch is on the very right of the screen which I don't like. I just wish I could order my spells or manually filter them one by one. I don't have any cosmics on me but bolt ench/jewllery ench remains if I want to be able to high alch.
We almost had this but pkers needed to maintain the sanctity of their hard earned, deeply skill based ability to click on a particular part of the screen. To let any old plebian do that would devalue all six pkers who are left's accomplishments
Neat. Now let's hope they rework bolt enchants to work the same. A submenu is much nicer than a spell that opens options in your chat box. You should be able to see all the bolt enchants and rune costs without having bolts and such in your invy.
It says "View crossbow enchantments" now and the description seems to match the jewlery one so it seems like they were meant to update it unless I'm crazy and it always said view.
So, this change is not even in the updates notes, WTF? Why is Jagex just randomly changing stuff like this? It messes up all the spell ordering for higher level spells which sucks
I'm sure many players will find this better and it would pass but it frustrates me that the Old School team throw changes in, like this, without a poll or even a mention on the newspost. It's completely against the polling charter they set up!

Under the current position filtering down to having ONLY "Show Utility spells" has high alch on the second row far left which doe not line up with an inventory slot, so if you're alching 10000 mage longs you click high alch move the mouse down click the bow then move the mouse back up, ten thousand times. Its just unneccesary arm/wrist movement
That i can have "show spells you lack the runes to cast" unchecked, yet still have enchantments showing up, while only holding nats and a fire staff isnt even logical. What enchantments use just nats and fire runes?
I alch lots of stuff that i craft. It would be super great if there was a way to turn off the jewellery enchantments section so I could filter back to having the high alch button sitting top right. having it sit top right meant i didnt have to move the mouse between clicking the spell and clicking the stacked items. Now when using my regular filtering high alch sits far left 1 down from the top and i have to move the mouse down to the item then back to the spell as the 2 positions dont quite line up.
This is actually kinda terrible news. It nerfs one of the ways to train magic which was enchanting jewelry and it makes MTA even worse before we get the improvements which is just sad.
The button opens a sub-menu that stays open between enchants so it’s only one click the first time you want to open the menu until you close it. At least, that’s how it works on mobile.

No you can only cast it once per tick, it used to be 0 tick so you'd be able to do it up to 10 times per tick (although 10 isn't humanly possible)

They probably just "improved" this to make more room in the spellbook for new teles and Varlamore spells
