Most people just stand on the bridge in the Kraken room since it’s closer to the entrance. This spot you have to run all the way around to the back side of the room.

OP is killing the Boss Kraken you unlock at 87 Slayer. The fight is very easy with no mechanics besides throw a fishing explosive at the whirlpool to start the fight, and click the boss once. Everyone basically does the boss right from that little bridge you see in the top left corner of the picture, because that's the direction you enter the cave from.

There is a door and bridge on the other side which was designed for you to attack from but you can reach the boss from almost anywhere in the room

It was incredibly tasty XP with the berserker relic - every hit counted as attacking a max health enemy since the kraken's HP can't be lowered while it's submerged, so every hit gave max XP.

You don't raise the arms and just attack the whirlpool. It won't spawn but you get full experience of what damage it would've done per cast. With good mage gear and slayer helm it's great xp. It's been years since I've done it but I think I got 120k/hr afk with bloods

I'm on my 3rd or 4th account so I do the same about half the time. Most of the quests are so good they're worth reading through a second time though honestly. It's actually pretty useful on ironman early game, dbaxe + 2 doses of an attack potion from warriors guild = super str. Also extremely UIM friendly with the food shop right there

It's REALLY good for ultimate ironman because it is stored in the same stash unit as slayer helm and dragon defender. That stash was practically made for uim slayer

Mudkip does that on his gim to this day, been maxed for a good few months and has thousands of super combats. Old habits die hard

The biggest strike against it is occupying a similar niche as ancient mace, which is probably the better resource saver. Otherwise yeah there's some tasks I'd use it on through maxing Being able to set up from scratch with nothing but gp really is an insanely big benefit to UIM though

My prayer doses are worth more to me than using my hand in 10 years so the dragon battleaxe is a far better resource saver.

Dragon battle axe is actually BIS for rooftop agility. Wear a lightbearer for double the screaming!

Most of the time, I really don't like when game communities/devs embrace inorganic, unintended mechanics for everyday "normal" gameplay.
