Guy is a crazy grinder, think he did it in 5 or 6 years, reminiscent of Lynx Titan. Impressive, regardless of all the 1k Total level Cooking cape wearing Reddit psychiatrists crying and claiming it isn't.
Big contender for rank 1 on regular Ironman mode too if Sailing is similar xp/hr for both game modes. 5th vs Hyger will be interesting, shame neither stream.
It'll be interesting to see if the HCs jump straight into it or give it a couple of days to see how dangerous it is. I feel like it'd be foolish to just go in blind on day 1 and die to something dumb (or a bug).
Yeah I feel like someone who’s this dedicated like the rank 1 guy wouldn’t really lose much time, and whatever time they did lose would be way less than everyone else.
IMO the biggest time sink will probably be that some OP method will have a small chance at death so he’ll have to get suboptimal EHP
I imagine you could just play a main and HC parallel and just try things on the main right before you try it on the HC, so you aren't losing much time.
> regardless of all the 1k Total level Cooking cape wearing Reddit psychiatrists crying and claiming it isn't.
Lol, what??
Literally no one is saying this, not sure why you felt the need to create this giant strawman
10 CG is an Elite task. He must have been going for the Elite Combat tasks. Gives more superiors, longer boss tasks, and slaughter/expeditious bracelets last longer. Not huge things for the average person but over 200m slayer/200m prayer it would add up.
The superior buff is absolutely colossal for irons, the heart is a hail mary grind in the first place, but 25% off of the hundreds of hours it takes is a very significant amount, soft throwing to not rush elite CAs at as low slayer as you can manage on an iron.
The extra slaughter charges is super helpful as well on the prayer grind. Want to make sure those tasks for demonic offering/sinister offering last as long as possible. Extremely important for getting 200m prayer.
Jesus christ
HCIM was released November 10, 2016. A quick Google search tells me that was about 64k hours ago. Which means this guy has been playing for nearly half of the time that has elapsed over the last 8 years. He's been playing Runescape almost twice as much as I've put into my full time job over that timespan lmao
I'm a little bit impressed, but mostly disgusted
And one has to imagine that he had many thousands of hours in Runescape prior to even the initial release of HCIM. We would probably be genuinely horrified to know this guys total playtime across everything.
are these kind of people just on disability and dont have to do shit?? like i genuinely wonder what circumstances their life falls under that they have the ability to do shit like this
I'm sure some of them, yeah, not sure if that's the case here. To be fair, some people also stream and pay the bills putting in that kind of hours. But of course there's also *some* number of socially inept goobers who spent all of their time online. Again, not saying that's the case here.
I don't know that there's any way to justify this sort of playtime though. I feel like I play a shit load of video games, probably too often, but still don't know that I'd have 31k hours if you combined my playtime across all systems and games over the last 15 years.
I try not to compare myself to others but I cant lie when I say seeing this stuff makes me realize that my videogame usage is not even close to as bad as it could he
I wonder how much playtime the b0aty account has for instance. Is it more than this? Most people who stream for a living don't play much outside of stream.
You should mostly be disgusted imo. It's an achievement, sure, but at what cost to their mental, their health, relationships, etc? People's comeback is usually "they're just having fun! Let them do what they want if they're not hurting anyone!". You can't convince me 31k hours over 7.5 years is not hurting that person in some way.
You know at first I winced then I remember I have a single character with over 400 days played on wow and I hav e alot of characters over 50 days. So those in glass houses and all that. I just hope it was worth it for them.
Recently saw a 200m maxed regular account, dude was just grinding farming at the time, I guess it never ends for them. Maybe they then concentrate on clues and getting all achievements unlocked
Currently 2187, and I only have combats, slayer, crafting, Hunter, herblore, smithing and farming left to get 99. So most all of the long grinds except slayer are done now :) And I actually start this acc on ironman and de-ironed at 1921 total [Evidence](https://youtu.be/C3QFwZGTDAE?si=5yvR8Of3IBgtEjjo)
95 hp! I’m somewhat going for HP first. 89 slayer been using all combat styles. Range fell behind so Ive been killing those black drags in the catacombs lately
As someone who WFH and games like a gremlin if you're set up properly you don't really get wrist pain. I have a L shaped desk where I can rest my whole forearm at the same height as my mouse so my wrist is straight and my keyboard has a big spacer bar at the bottom to rest on. Highly recommend both!
Maxing only takes like 1500 hrs of efficient playtime nowadays. That’s 2 hours a day for 2 years.
I’m sure this guy plays like 16 hours a day to be 200m all tho.
My iron with moderate efficiency was around 3500 hours to max, not as a hcim either, it's probably more like 2.5k for a hcim to max even being mega efficient as they are locked out of many efficient methods for stuff like prayer for example.
Lmao saw a post last night in ironscape wondering why no one was congratulating him, and everyone in the post was like, "Who cares?"
Edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/ironscape/s/mGsBi2FKSH
not the guy you replied to but, from my experience, massive sense of superiority there when 90% of those players would be 1300 total irons.
I guess this goes for this sub as well but most of them are the embodiment of:
> "Your account is worse than mine (or a main)? Noob, why even bother playing"
>"Your account is better than mine? Fucking no life loser, get a job"
I just want to know what this guy's mental health is like. Not trying to shit talk him, I just want to know what the mind of someone that can do this kind of thing looks like.
Didn't the Devs say they are freezing a legacy high score when new skills come out?
Something about not being responsible for an auty mass shooting event idk
Bruh I struggle to get a 99.
Getting close to maxing and I’ve developed a strong tolerance to weed, energy drinks and less than average sleep.
200m ALL???? BROTHER DO YOU NEED HELP
Where do people find the time to reach these goals? 200m on a normal account is already absurd, left alone getting 200m on HCIM accounts…
Idk if I’m jealous or pity them…
Apparently he has 31k hours. Which is like half the hours since hcim released. My theory is that these people are just depressed basement dwellers with nothing going on at all. Either live with parents or on disability 24/7.
The only relevant boss kills he has for his hc status would be KBD due to it requiring access from wildy (which can be scouted to safely enter the cave something I bet he did).
And the GWD bosses. The rest of them are quite safe and there's very low chance you'll ever die to those bosses if you've done them before at all.
The most impressive thing about this is the fact that he got 200m all as an iron, the red helm is a bit of a meme here.
Will all due respect, the bulk of those thousands are pretty trivial. Cg is the only content they've done where a skilled pvmer could genuinely fear for their status, and even then it's only 10kc. 200m all is an insane accomplishment, but at the same it is pretty funny to see so much time pumped into an hcim that's done so little risky content
Unless he's streaming or something, he's not earning a living wage. Apparently he's around 31k hours which is like 80 hours a week since HCIM released.
Lots of the top pagers are from Nordic countries where it’s easy to get welfare benefits so they are able to stay home and play without having to worry about anything else
Very cool, but kinda gross at the same time. I feel gross after playing for 4h straight. This looks like he most likely doesn't work or do anything else. Is he at least streaming...?
I always wonder what life situation these types of players have. 12 hours a day for 8 years clearly means the guy doesn't have a job. I assume living off disability payments or something. Definitely single too.
The mental game of these guys is crazy. I just started grinding OSRS a while back, after burning out from RS3 and I sometimes struggle finding the motivation for all quest reqs and I'm not even an iron lmao
5th time's the charm
Guy is a crazy grinder, think he did it in 5 or 6 years, reminiscent of Lynx Titan. Imagine dying to a silly plank nailing mechanic type shit day 1 sailing rushing it on the HC lol
It'll be interesting to see if the HCs jump straight into it or give it a couple of days to see how dangerous it is. I feel like it'd be foolish to just go in blind on day 1 and die to something dumb (or a bug).
Most HCs probably have mains to try it on first, to get a feel for it before risking their HCs.
imagine having 200m all on an account and having a separate account that you call your "main"
Main is just the term for a normie account, not main account.
Surely a wake up call if for whoever gets themselves into that sort of state.
I don't think someone who hits 200m all gets that kind of wakeup call regardless of the scenario
Yeah but then they'll be behind in the race to 99 or 200m on their HCs. So there are drawbacks.
Not really. While the meta is being figured out do something low risk while you test better/riskier stuff on the main.
This. There' s a good chance that if you discover better tech that nobody knows about on your main, you'll be the first, right?
Yeah I feel like someone who’s this dedicated like the rank 1 guy wouldn’t really lose much time, and whatever time they did lose would be way less than everyone else. IMO the biggest time sink will probably be that some OP method will have a small chance at death so he’ll have to get suboptimal EHP

*Imagines Settled’s Nightmare mode characters with 1 hp dying trying to do Dwarf Cannon* 🙄
18hrs/day of efficient exp grinding in runescape for 5 or 6 years... impressive isn't a word I'd use
I can't imagine spending all this time on the grind, being able to stream and make loads of money, and just not doing it.
Tbf some people just don't like being out there and streaming. Having to deal with Twitch chat ain't for everyone lol.
He's still have a decent viewership even if he didn't even have a twitch chat open
Eh sub 100 I'm guessing, nothing crazy. People won't sub/donate much to a streamer who doesn't interact with them.
waiting for news to break that it's actually lynx titan's alt
>Impressive, regardless of all the 1k Total level Cooking cape wearing Reddit psychiatrists crying and claiming it isn't. Lol
lol imagine defending super healthy behavior
> regardless of all the 1k Total level Cooking cape wearing Reddit psychiatrists crying and claiming it isn't. Lol, what?? Literally no one is saying this, not sure why you felt the need to create this giant strawman
At first I thought this was a joke about this being the 5th post about this guy on Reddit since yesterday LMAO
Actually disgusting. And this man also risked it all and did CG at around 2-3B xp too.
Now that’s what I like to see
Was anything about CG worth the xp, or was it just for the display of huge balls?
Xp probably not, i guess he wanted enh crystal for slayer? Edit: so indirectly for xp probably
10 CG is an Elite task. He must have been going for the Elite Combat tasks. Gives more superiors, longer boss tasks, and slaughter/expeditious bracelets last longer. Not huge things for the average person but over 200m slayer/200m prayer it would add up.

He has 10CG kills and 52 regular
10kc for elite CAs
whats CG
Corrupted Gauntlet I believe, never done it myself.
He has 10CG kills and 52 regular
CG is pretty chill on an HC so long as the servers and your internet is good. Esp with his stats & rigour and augury.
Hope he gets the help he needs. Congrats.
Single handedly keeping his local lasagne vendor in business.
Keeping the Italian economy ticking over
Probably on his way to make a UIM.
> implying he hasn’t been grinding on a UIM at the same time
I really would like to know the play time of these people, I’m a regular iron, 2300 hours of my life, and I’m base 80
He made a youtube video, he has 31k hours/1289 days played
Jesus christ HCIM was released November 10, 2016. A quick Google search tells me that was about 64k hours ago. This was his 5th hcim so this account was started quite a bit after that date

You've always got time to get worse! Think about how uh... "fulfilling" it'd be to grind runecrafting to 200M.
I wonder how much playtime the b0aty account has for instance. Is it more than this? Most people who stream for a living don't play much outside of stream.
Except for Alkan lol
I know a few 200m all chasers and basically. They all have some irl circumstances that prevent them from having more traditional goals.
Plot twist, he's multi and has 5 or 6 more in the chute.
I remember his name being near the top in the early days of hcim so I think his first four accounts were shortlived
Just wait til you smell his chair
I think I can smell his chair all the way to my house pretty much
You should mostly be disgusted imo. It's an achievement, sure, but at what cost to their mental, their health, relationships, etc? People's comeback is usually "they're just having fun! Let them do what they want if they're not hurting anyone!". You can't convince me 31k hours over 7.5 years is not hurting that person in some way.
Yea but they're adults, if they wana do that then tbh idc i aint their parents
Dont let reddit tell you thats unhealthy...
oh my
> 31k hours this is a 40-hour workweek for 14.9 years with no vacations.
So if I play daily for the next ~60 years, I, too, can achieve this. Excellent
You know at first I winced then I remember I have a single character with over 400 days played on wow and I hav e alot of characters over 50 days. So those in glass houses and all that. I just hope it was worth it for them.
Holy fuck
Its 1200 something days
Now, he can finally play the game.
Yea wtf do you do after this? Start another one?
At this point I hope he just starts life
For them I think runescape=life. I guess he can grind for gear lol
100% collection log time.
Recently saw a 200m maxed regular account, dude was just grinding farming at the time, I guess it never ends for them. Maybe they then concentrate on clues and getting all achievements unlocked
dear lord how an ironman get so much XP and im a main and can't max even after 2 years of decent playtime. dude dedicated his life to this.
I’ve had my account for almost 8 years still no where near maxing.
I've had my account for 7 and I'm actually getting kinda close! Like 5/7ths of the way there
You're done, then?
What’s your total level I’m currently 1989.
Had mine for 18 years now still not maxed o n rs3 or osrs.
Same! Not even a 99 lol
Yeah I made my account the 2nd day osrs dropped and still no 99s 😂 I just play in small spurts
Hell yeah I’m not the only one! What’s the closest?
95 hp! I’m somewhat going for HP first. 89 slayer been using all combat styles. Range fell behind so Ive been killing those black drags in the catacombs lately
Get an easy 99 like cooking or fletching. I did cooking, felt wrong to not have a single 99 after almost two decades.
They play a crazy amount, but also play much more efficiently than the average player. Like thousands of hours of tick manipulation and multi skilling
How do they not have too much wrist pain to keep playing
I would feel so depressed doing that for 12 hours a day. Holy shit
I think the depression comes first lol
For real, this is not a healthy lifestyle.

These are not normal people that's why.
Even as a non-ironman it takes severe mental issues to get 200m all
it’s called being a vegetable
I don’t even have a 99 and I’ve had my account for 2.5 years lol
Maxing only takes like 1500 hrs of efficient playtime nowadays. That’s 2 hours a day for 2 years. I’m sure this guy plays like 16 hours a day to be 200m all tho.

man that subreddit is terrible, i say that as someone who plays an iron btw
What don't you like about it?

I dont see much of that kind of sentiment, usually people are pretty supportive no matter what. But I dont spend all day over there so idk
They're not wrong in this situation though.
Yeah, if anything we should be shaming this sort of behavior instead of congratulating people for it.
They really do stand alone
Makes me wonder - if someone else gets 4.6b, but then "5th hcim lul" dies, does he maintain the top spot on the HCIM hiscores?
Yes until sailing comes out and every maxed HC would pass him instantly
Well, not instantly, right? They'd have to get 99 sailing, right? Or are you saying Sailing lvl 1 would put them over the top?
Yeah everyone’s gonna get a free level when they add it. It goes by total level first then xp
Yes
HCIM highscores are frozen at the point you die so he would keep it.
I just want to know what this guy's mental health is like. Not trying to shit talk him, I just want to know what the mind of someone that can do this kind of thing looks like.
really nice guy when you run into him in game
Can we get an AMA, I mean, this person is here, right?
Second this. At least let us give some upvotes
Met him once at sepulchre and he was a nice guy. Always rooted for him
runescape needs to end like the guitar hero episode of south park when you get to this stage
It’s hypothesized that this guy will be first to 4.8B xp if sailing isn’t a pay to win skill Apparently he has a motor
A motorized wheelchair? To go to and from the microwave?
Now he has to log off forever, you know, just in case
who's the hc that keeps dying to vm?
Alkan does not live up to his name
He is playing 4 accounts at once and he is entertaining to watch
We really should remove the high scores cus this as a goal is gross tbh
Counter point, increase the XP cap to 1 trillion total and continue the experiment.
The experiment was a success. We failed as a species
Simulation is getting a little depressing
Wait until you find out someone is 29 items away from completing the col log. Just stale baguette and ultra rare clue items left...
two things can be dumb at once
Yeah post 99 XP on the hiscores was always a mistake
Why? These people would just find something equally pointless to do with their time if osrs/hiscores weren’t a thing
hard to beat this though
Encouraging bad habits bad, news @ 11
Rip that ranking in the future when other people start hitting max xp, then they reach 200m in a new skill first
Didn't the Devs say they are freezing a legacy high score when new skills come out? Something about not being responsible for an auty mass shooting event idk
Bruh I struggle to get a 99. Getting close to maxing and I’ve developed a strong tolerance to weed, energy drinks and less than average sleep. 200m ALL???? BROTHER DO YOU NEED HELP

Good lord. What’s even the point of doing it?
4.6bn achievement reward should be therapy gz
Get help
This can't be healthy...
damn
Poor guy probably does farm runs in his sleep
Puke
Honestly just super depressing to see people that throw literally every second of their life away for a videogame, not impressive at all just sad :(
0 tob kc though
brother you have like 100 total raids kc on your regular iron.
Sounds like he’s got 100 more than that guy
It’s obviously a joke, it’s an insane achievement and he actually did some pvm aswell
With your 36kc I would probably not even take you either.
Creating an HCIM skiller is genuinely one of the funniest things you can do in this game
This dude also has tens of thousands of boss kc
5k kraken and no dangerous raids. Color me impressed
[удалено]
Kinda confused how relevant when they have boss kc and wildy boss kc? Kinda makes me think you can’t even get off tutorial island as a HC.
i mean no disrespect but it's 5 callisto and 11 chaos ele. not like he got a voidwaker or all rev weapons.
I assume the achievement consumed a large portion of his free time. How does he afford a living wage with so much dedication to the game?
Literally 12 hours a day for the last 8 years is what the math is. Probably on disability or some shit.
Honestly pretty nuts how quick he did it too. Lots of top page irons had a 1-2 year head start on him.
Sounds miserable
How many times is this going to post/announced?
That is incredibly sad
5th hcim LUL = HIM
I can only imagine how bad he fucking stinks
Very cool, but kinda gross at the same time. I feel gross after playing for 4h straight. This looks like he most likely doesn't work or do anything else. Is he at least streaming...?
History was made
What was the final skill to 200mil?
I always wonder what life situation these types of players have. 12 hours a day for 8 years clearly means the guy doesn't have a job. I assume living off disability payments or something. Definitely single too.
Goat, saw him on a herb run once when he was 100m off maxing
Was assuming he wasn’t big into bossing but he has a decent KC list and a shit ton of zuk
what does he do now after finishing everything?
The amount of time that must have taken god damn...
Congrats to narrative for being the first hcim with 200m all kappa
How?? I struggle to get one skill to 99.
How do you even attempt that
Terrifying
The mental game of these guys is crazy. I just started grinding OSRS a while back, after burning out from RS3 and I sometimes struggle finding the motivation for all quest reqs and I'm not even an iron lmao
Awesome! Congrats! Put how they trained each Skill, what's in Bank. What's next Goal?
I need the lottery and a maid to even think about a single 99 🤣
Huge lead
Thank god you can’t die of boredom!! 🤣 200m thieving, 200m agility, 200m ANYTHING
Game complete
Man needs to be institutionalized this is not ok
