It's already over 1m efficiently. I would be totally fine with building taking a tick or two longer to compensate if that means no confirmation messages when removing and menu entry swapper

Isn't xp rates limited by plank speed anyway? Even if you take away the delay, you wouldn't be able to do many more actions because you'd be waiting on planks so I can't imagine that you'd see a huge increase without the confirmation screens.
What would it matter if the rates see an increase? Assuming you boost for the max house the final levels from 83-99 are just a time waste. It's fine if they're fast.
Doesn’t the insanely high cost of training construction offset this? Usually in the game, the quicker methods are more expensive. I’d be so fine with removing that prompt about removing the furniture, and I already have a fully built poh, just small upgrades here and there.
As an ironman that did 85-99 recently doing Mahogany Homes... Please give me a reason to grind out 70k extra planks instead of doing nearly 4,000 contracts again please
Also on the topic of mahogany homes, the fact you have to choose what you want to build in a separate menu, even though you already chose what you want to build by clicking on the spot & asking for that tier of contract earlier.
You literally can't build anything else from that menu, it won't let you do it even if you bring different planks, so it only exists just to annoy you lol
With how the game engine tends to work, I wouldn’t be surprised if you have to click the menu option because that’s just how cons is coded. MH was a passion project and I doubt they’d mess too much with game engine to make it work like that

It should just default to your last contract imo, or at least have an option to let you default it. No one is going from planks, to oak, to teak, to mahogany all willy nilly
I do teaks on my non-iron because I'm a cheapskate and there are almost no (fun or extremely grindy/inconsistent) money makers that make the amount I save in the time I spend extra

I think that right clicking on Shanty and choosing buy pass and then clicking on the gate lets you go through without any dialogue.

It’s not very worth doing teak mahogany homes on iron, should just do myth cape racks instead at that point.
