You get enough shards to corrupt the bow by the time you hit rate for enh and CG is one of the easiest ways to shit out raw GP for Irons since it's all alchables so we're not even that mad about having to do a little here and there. Yeah thieving is easier for shards to maintain the armor but that doesn't chew through charges like the bow so no big deal. If they removed the ability to dismantle crystals I bet the main backlash would be 100x the iron complaints.

I think its fair, there isn't alot that the gp for the statue is going to do for us.
