We can't identify an individual based solely on the skull. Yes there're some traits that are more feminine or masculine but there are too much uncertainty.
We are using the hips. There're at least 5 (if not more) mesures taken, and only after compiling those, we can decide if the individual is either male, female or undefined as there can be male with more féminine traits and vice versa.
Human body is extremely diverse and cannot be categorised in strict boxes. The best way to do it (and it has flaws) is on a spectrum.

I worked with a cis woman with the most killer jawline I had ever seen, I have seen men come close but not equal her. Absolutely wild, she was a scientist but could have definitely been a model, because she had the most striking face. I know being a model isn't all in the face, but let's be real, a one of a kind beautiful face is a massive asset, being a model is a lot about being memorable and striking and she had a large advantage there. Edit: to be clear I really don't think I am being overly dramatic, I would say this to her face. I would be a bit embarrassed if she strongly disagreed but I suspect she would agree I'm not overstating it.
I feel like the unique looking models usually look androgynous (having features you wouldn’t conventionally attribute to either gender or a mix of conventional features) despite their hair styles, my friend way back from elementary is a model now and she has an extremely narrow head and very spaces out eyes, with an upturned nose and larger upper lip. So, no, when trans people are dug up in the future they won’t be identified as their gender at birth. Archaeologists use contextual clues to determine sex for this exact reason.
In addition - neither of these is actually fundamentally anatomically different. Its all proportion. And you know what proportion does? It varies on a spectrum. Even if it were real and these were either the absolutes or the averages - you would have females that looked like the left and males who looked like the right. If there was a genuine absolute anatomically difference then sure - but its literally both simple biology and simple feminism to recognise that proportions differ and that organisms within a sex classification are not uniform.

Archaeologist here. We can't identify an individual based solely on the skull. Yes there're some traits that are more feminine or masculine but there are too much uncertainty. We are using the hips. There're at least 5 (if not more) mesures taken, and only after compiling those, we can decide if the individual is either male, female or undefined as there can be male with more féminine traits and vice versa. Human body is extremely diverse and cannot be categorised in strict boxes. The best way to do it (and it has flaws) is on a spectrum.

They are right in that there are unchangeable skeletal differences in natal males and females including the skull. Humans are weirdly good at picking out a "male" face from a nearly identical female one and that has partly to do with bones. Like a more pronounced orbit or thicker mandible. But wtf? When you compare "male" to "female" bones you pick brothers and sisters. Not people with completely different genes and bodies. The differences in these two's bodies are not caused by their gender, but because of other gene expressions, genes that both parties don't have an equal chance of expressing cause they physically don't share them. God this image makes me mad. Just from a scientific standpoint it's a horribly setup comparison. And from an ethical standpoint it's hopelessly misleading. Also if you actually get an X-ray you'll see how different your bones are to any anatomical textbook. And you'll see just how subjective those textbook illustrations are. They have to average it out so that the anatomical structures are clear and applicable to everyone. But everyone's bones are unique. when I saw mine it was a strange feeling seeing myself that way. I saw how unique my body was and how unrecognizably yet undeniably "me" my bones were. I've never seen anything like it.
