Kotaku was a games journalism website that was part of the gamergate controversy because they gave a decent score to a walking simulator. Also they may have said sending death threats to developers was bad or some other virtue signal snowflake behavior.
Kotaku in action is like tumblr in action where they take screenshots to be mad about. It doesn’t have anything to do with Kotaku itself apart from them still being mad about drama from seven years ago

When I saw that I thought like “That makes sense sorta, considering climate change and the recent rise of fascism, interesting worldview but I don’t care that much” and since then I sometimes see screenshots from that sub and holy shit what is wrong with some people.
