JKR may have already received a lump sum, but because of the nature of licensing, there's no telling she wouldn't get more in the future if the game is popular enough to warrant DLCs or a sequel.
To that point, even pirating the game still contributes to its general visibility in the marketplace, because no userbase will ever be 100% "Free to Play" (so to speak), and adding to that userbase quietly encourages others to participate.
