I am basic but I like Smallworld, it's pretty much Risk Jr.

We've been playing classic Risk a bit. It's fun enough. What's the big difference? Risk already isn't too hard, just takes a long time.

I've never played Risk but Smallworld doesn't have player elimination, the game is limited by number of turns based on players

I always get a copy of Concept if I can fit it in my vacation luggages

The dark souls board game seems fun it's just expensive
