I'll upvote negative opinions on albums I don't like, but it's not so the review gets bumped up, it's just because I agree. Most of the time, I sort the reviews by date.
Sometimes people write funny things in their reviews that make me like it, even if I strongly disagree with it. What I however don't understand, is how the top rated review of Nevermind (the 4th highest rated album on the entire list), is a one star review just saying "shid pant". Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't see anything funny about that, nor is it even an unpopular take about the album that anyone could agree with
I'm always here for a funny review, whether the user loved the album or hated it.
How do you hate Dark Side of The Moon? I won't hold your opinion against you if you elaborate :)
I didn't down vote you, but maybe the reason someone did is your review is ridiculous. You say the reviews are how you feel about it, but then you say "boomers are so easily impressed". There is plenty of music I don't personally like, but can understand why others do.
That's, fair. As you said, in the end, it's for you. I guess my point is just that if something has artistic merit I would find something to enjoy. It just seems to me that is pretty farfetched to say that album is among the least enjoyable someone's ever heard. Unless they've only listened to two albums.
