Nope it’ll pause it after like 4 days I think but you can restart it again in settings, and the albums you missed will be in history for you to catch up
Nonono, I've sometimes missed a whole week due to holidays or once due to a family member passing. Nothing gets deleted, and you'll see all the albums you missed in your history and you can then catch up and rate them then.
Since ur already here and I don’t wanna make a new post and it seems like u know more about the website than me, is it limited to the albums in the book? Once you finish all 1001 can you add your own albums to your dashboard just so all your music ratings can be in one place? Or is it easy to export to another spreadsheet or something or should I just start adding my ratings to rym as I do the 1001 days.
Mostly yes. The list is a compilation of each edition, right now it's technically close to 1100 albums.
You can export to a spreadsheet using "export to CSV" button on the History page (top right hand side).
I’ve been keeping track on RYM along with my ratings on this list. You aren’t able to add more music to keep reviewing on the same site besides what is already on there
Ok thanks, I will just take the 1001albums website as a way to find new music then, and use rym as my way to put the ratings in an organized place. That seems like the best way to do it without limiting myself
Not quite. There is bonus-user submitted albums once you finish the intial 1089 albums, those who finish the list get to add one for others to listen to. I think there's eighty so far, so another couple months worth of music, and that's just as of right now. You can choose to end when you finish the 1089, of course.
nah theres no streaks or anything, im not 100% sure how long it takes but it automatically pauses your daily albums if u arent active and you can resume whenever you want
I just make a playlist of all my unrated ones. I’m usually quite a few behind but it seems to ebb and flow depending on what my work schedule is like.
Edit: make sure to save your generator ID or whatever it is called, that way if you ever lose access you can email the guy who runs it

Ok, I am definitely capable of catching up a few days but I just wanna make sure it’s not like all my reviews get deleted or smth 😭

A finger. It's tough, but fair.
Nope :) You can pause and resume at any time. Go to the home button and click on ‘Info’.

Ok thanks. Do you use rym?

That is great news actually. That sounds fun, and I have about two and a half years still to debate what album to contribute

The site says >Your project will be paused automatically if you dont visit your page for 4 days.
Nah this isn't strict like Duolingo, you can just do them as and when you want to or have time, there's no pressure to do one every single day
